Tobu Oriental Eatery — Restaurant in West Palm Beach

If I could give this place a zero I would! Food is disgusting, management and employees are a joke. After buying 2 separate plates from here one for my husband and one for my son, we sit down and the start to eat almost immediately my husband says the rice was not good.. as my 6yr old son was eating his plate he found a dead bug inside his rice. Immediately he said to us “look what was in my rice omg mommy they tried to let me eat this” as I was feeding our newborn baby I said hold on let’s go show them and he ran up to the gentleman pictured and started telling him what he found, with my husband approaching behind our son the guy says “is that a bug” my son said “yes it was in my rice” he replied “that was in your food” looks at the other employees and smiles. He then laughed as if my son was lying. Noticing what was going on I walked up and said my son is showing you a dead bug that he just found in his food. The manager then says “I needed to see the bug in the food, you should have left it in the food” and laughs again along with the employees. I Immediately get frustrated and asked “you think my son killed a bug placed it in his food and brought the bug up here” him and all the employees just kept laughing as if we were lying. I couldn’t do anything but walk away because I was so frustrated and all the laughing. Such poor customer service, poor management and poor food...

I wish I didn’t have to select one star, because my experience warrants a zero! The staff is very rude and disrespectful! I don’t like to pull the race card, but I’m sure that the way I was spoken to came from a place of hate. I was told to “never come back here again” because the employee wanted to argue with me after the server agreed to substitute my side for something else (no charge)because they ran out of veggies. To only get to the register and get charged for two meats meal -I only had one… The cashier wouldn’t listen and kept saying she’s charging me more because of the egg roll. Every time I tried to explain about the arrangement made with the server, she kept cutting me off, saying that she knows what she’s talking about and refused to allow me to talk! Because she was so rude, I decided that I wasn’t putting my hard earned money into that establishment. As I was leaving, she yelled for me not to come back there in front of other customers. Trust me, I will NEVER...

One thing I always enjoy with my kids when we go shopping is Mall food! But this place, was definitely one we did not enjoy or think we will ever go back.The taste was horrible, the service was horrible, the price was horrible and a total rip off! I was charged $16.99 for BBQ pork combo, I only got sautéed green beans and 3 pieces of ribs which were slimy and undercooked, I couldn't even get a refund as per thier policy which was fine. I switched it for appetizers and even then the Cheese Rangoon tasted as if something crawled in there and died. When I went back to ask her to change it she refused and gave me the nastiest attitude ever, which was beyond unnecessary because i don't even think i was being rude even though I was the paying customer. Gee-Whiz-Loise its my stomach and money. But anyways just figured I write my story in a review since that's what this generation as come down too... Bad customer service and reviews! GOOD LUCK NOT GETTING FOOD...
