I was so excited to try an Ecuadorian restaurant since I’m Ecuadorian-American. The location is great because it’s part of the Palm Beach Outlets mall. The service was great and the atmosphere is also good in the sense that it is clean for a food court. However, the food was so disappointing. This food does not reflect Ecuadorian food at all. The pan de yuca tasted more like pão de queijo but dry. I also lived in Brazil and it wasn’t even close to good compared to Brazilian cheese bread. I had the seco de pollo and yes the chicken was tender fortunately, but no flavor. The sauce is everythingggg when you eat it with rice and this sauce was too watery. (sorry my photo shows a half eaten seconds pollo because I was so hungry). My Ma had the guatita and she wasn’t impressed (she is from Guayaquil and makes guatita homemade so she knows). My husband had the seco de chivo and he said it was okay. I won’t be back again because the food was so disappointing and expensive. We went there straight off my 15-hour flight from Miami because I wanted to try the new Ecuadorian spot in Palm Beach. But now, I’d rather make my Ecuadorian food at home if the food won’t taste casera and save...
Read moreRespectfully…It’s way too overpriced for my liking, I’d rather go to chipotle or bolay for the same price and way more food options when it comes to “build your own bowl” I built my own bowl for it to just be 1 option for each step. Bolay has a large bowl for more options of 2 bases, 2 veggies 2 proteins for the price of $13.99 (I’m pointing it out because it is Cheaper and still considered pricier for some food chains)
I paid 18$ after tax for my salad bowl; I tried the 15.99 honey chicken (regular chicken is 14.99) this is something different I wanted to try and give it a chance but you only get 1 base 1 protein 1 side and 1 sauce In my opinion this was somewhat mediocre, I only ate here because I was inside the mall and wanted something conveniently nearby and different but I could sincerely make this at home. This is my opinion alone. On another note the cashier was super nice and explained to me the steps and...
Read moreWhoever gives this place less than Four stars has issues, I’m sorry . It’s already hard for Ecuadorian restaurants to survive and stay open in West Palm Beach. And yes maybe they’re not perfect but They are doing the best they can. The food is amazing, The service is amazing. I wish I could give them a 10 stars review but I can only do five. No, I’m not friends with the owner. I’m just an Ecuadorian customer who eats here twice a month. We as Ecuadorian are supposed to support each other And stay United.
