⭐ Häagen-Dazs: Where Dreams Melt... and So Does Your Will to Live 🍦😩
I walked into Häagen-Dazs with the innocent joy of a child and the budget of a grown adult with a coupon. I left broke, betrayed, and emotionally lactose-intolerant. 😭🧊💸
First of all, I was greeted by someone who looked like I just interrupted their midlife crisis. Zero smiles. I get it, it’s hot, but I didn’t ask for attitude with my Rocky Road. 🍫
I ordered a small scoop, and the price made me check my pockets like I accidentally wandered into a luxury car dealership. $8.95 for a scoop that looked like it had commitment issues?! I’ve seen more ice cream fall off a toddler’s cone in the sun. 🍨👶
I asked if I could try one flavor. JUST ONE. The employee looked at me like I requested to borrow their car for the weekend. After a sigh louder than a Shakespeare monologue, they gave me a sample the size of a contact lens. 🥴👁️
Then came the moment of truth: I took a bite of Cookies & Cream, ready to be transported to creamy bliss. Instead, my taste buds were like, “Is this it? Is this what we paid for?!” Even my inner child gave up and ordered therapy.
The napkins were rationed like we were in an apocalypse. I asked for a second one and got side-eyed like I was trying to rob the place. Sir, I just want to wipe my dignity off my chin. 😔🧻
Ambience? About as welcoming as a dentist’s waiting room during a power outage. And it was colder in there than my last relationship. 🥶💔
Final thoughts: This place is proof that just because something is frozen and fancy-sounding, doesn’t mean it deserves your time, money, or last shred of joy. Next time I want overpriced disappointment, I’ll just swipe right on Tinder.
1 star, only because I...
Read moreWhat a surprise! Delicious black coffee with whip cream from the Haagen-Dazs ice cream shop at the outlet mall! Didn’t make coffee in the morning at home and took our shuttle to the outlets early! Didn’t want to risk my life walking in the parking lot to Starbucks so I looked for affordable coffee. The new coffee truck was too expensive and no one inside the food court had coffee. So I noticed a huge ad in the window of the Haagen daz store saying iced and hot coffee! Yay! The store is spotless and welcoming. The charming and friendly young lady quickly came to assist me. A little coffee bar at the entrance of the store with extremely affordable coffee prices. I had no idea. I am definitely a fan! I ordered a regular black coffee and added whipped cream! The coffee was only $1.49 and the whipped cream was an additional.50 cents. Fresh delicious coffee! Yes I ordered a hot coffee. I added a little Splenda and cinnamon from the coffee bar. It was easily the most delicious coffee I’ve had outside of my home! I took it into the air conditioned food court to enjoy. I’m not a big ice cream fan but will definitely recommend the coffee from Haagen Daz! (I do like Haagen Daz ice cream on the rare occasion...
