Barbara Bishel, Needs to be recognized. First and foremost because she is the hands preparing your food. All the love she has is poured into every dish. Second, Josue her husband is the smiling face to great you and explain the menu and passion for their food and their hometown. A dynamic duo. I have gone twice once with my daughters who couldn’t stop talking about how much their food was like eating at their great grandmothers house. We checked back at the open kitchen to see Barbara smiling watching us enjoy our food. It was so good and we ordered so much food that we took some home to our spouses which made me come back the next day to try even more of their menu. My husband loved the flavors of his childhood bringing up the nostalgia as if his grandma was alive and preparing his food. The flavor combinations, attention to detail, amazing service are like no other restaurant that I have had here in Tri-Cities. I only wish I found this place sooner. I would recommend this place time and time again. Thank you for staying open later just to serve us.

Great prices, great staff, comfortable seating BUT the food... It wasn't just great, it was an experience! I live in southern United States, and on a business trip to Washington state I reluctantly stopped to this restaurant. Not because of anything they did, but because once again, I'm from the south where this type of food is overwhelmingly available. After taking a bite, it was as if I was transported! The flavors, freshness, originality, the fusion all was unexpected. I could have done a news conference right then and there because it's exactly how taken I was. I wish my following would go and taste this. Tell my new friends Bayou Klassiks sent you. Their isn't enough stars to highlight them.

I was expecting a real Guadalajara style food but was left dissatisfied. The menu lacked variety and presentation, same with the food. They will charge you extra if you want your meal with rice and beans. 15 dollars I have spend for a quesadilla which did not come with sides or anything and was just plain and greasy. As a person that knows and have lived in Guadalajara, this is not it. Taco Bell can do better.

Tried this place on a whim since we’ve had trouble finding good Mexican food in the area. While the menu isn’t large in variety it more than makes up for in excellent flavor. I’ve tried several places and a half dozen food trucks, this place has the best street tacos of any around. Also, tried my wife’s “special quesadilla”…wow was that good! The are listed on a few delivery services so it’s really convenient but next time I’ll have to make a trip down in person. I’ve traveled though most of western Mexico and a bit in Central America. So far, this place is a favorite...
