Kiki's Food truck — Restaurant in West Sacramento

I’ve been to this food truck before and always enjoyed their tenders with cheese and sauce—it’s one of their staple menu items. So when I stopped by again, I was honestly shocked when they refused to serve it the way it’s always been made. Instead, they gave me plain tenders with the cheese and sauce on the side, as if I was supposed to assemble it myself.

When I asked why, I didn’t get a real answer—just confusion and what felt like stubborn refusal to do something that should’ve been simple. It’s frustrating when a place you’ve liked before suddenly stops making sense under new management. How do you take something that’s already on your menu and make it harder to serve?

The food was fine, but the experience left me disappointed. It’s not just about the tenders—it’s about the lack of effort, the refusal to listen, and the sheer stupidity of changing something that worked perfectly fine. Hopefully, they figure things out before more...

I've heard great things about Kiki's but lacked the experience. Ordered online for pickup but they never saw the order.. We got both tenders and boneless wings to try and a variety of sauces. The "boneless wings" ended up just being cut-up tenders. Seriously, I rarely post pictures, but there they are. The cut-up-Tenders/Wings covered in sauce were better than the plain tenders... sorta. The chicken itself was dry. It's no better than what I'd expect to get if I bought fried chicken from under a lamp at the grocery store. The sauces were bland. We got jalapeno ranch that didn't taste spicy or like ranch. The sweet chili should have had a tang to it... it tasted like jelly instead. There is better fried chicken in the Sacramento area......

Bad customer service is what earned you this review. 6/24/21 at 5-7 PM. Made my girlfriend feel dumb and upset when you couldn’t hear what she had to repeat 3/4 times which ended in us leaving without placing an order. Not hard to understand what she was asking; if you can add popcorn chicken on her fries, she was asking if you can do that but you just couldn’t understand plain & simple English. Listen more closely, apologize & get closer to be able to hear better & not upset...
