Edge — Local services in West Sacramento

I’ve been living here since July of 2022 and I must say I used to really love and enjoy living here until this past year and half. Unfortunately, I’ve been without a functioning AC for about a month now and before this breakdown, I had another breakdown probably a few weeks prior that also lasted about a month long. Despite submitting multiple work orders, I was just informed that it’ll take another few weeks for them to come down and address the situation. Before I know it, it’ll be two months without functioning AC. This will also be the second summer in a row dealing with extreme indoor heat (currently over 80 degrees as we speak). I also have a pet and it’s increasingly unsafe and not to mention extremely uncomfortable living here. If I’m hot, I can only imagine how my furry baby is feeling. It’s become very frustrating and honestly, disappointing. And I know for a fact other units are going through the same issue. Tenants shouldn’t have to live in these conditions. During the winter, the heater also breaks but luckily I have placed an electric fireplace in my unit so the winters aren’t too harsh. For the amount we are paying, you would think this solution would have BEEN fixed last year. How sad. Just be aware of what you’re getting yourself into before moving in here. Someone keeps playing loud music enough to feel through the walls and floors way too late at night on the regular. Currently its midnight as I'm writing this and looking at reviews of what other people have said it looks like the staff don't bother assisting their tenants with this. I doubt even sending an email asking for assistance will help. I WANT TO SLEEP! Not be kept awake at ridiculous hours...

The neighborhood is great. Near lots of cool things and being close to downtown without having to be in downtown. Clean area. Downside is that we have a neighbor who blasts music sometimes during the day and also late at night at 12am and beyond and makes the walls shake.
