Crazy Seafood Cajun Seafood and Bar — Restaurant in West Springfield

Total bill $152 Two seafood bags, two cokes and a shrimp cocktail. Not impressed at all. Shrimp cocktail was six medium/large tasteless shrimp If you look at my pictures Each meal was $50 for a total of $100 if you look at my puny overcooked shriveled up lobster tail just that lobster tail was $20 (each)if you look at the picture with the king crab leg Just the leg was $26. Corn was not fresh soggy and really they gave a couple pieces of potatoes as cheap as potatoes are they could’ve gave more potatoes. Went on a date sat at the bar, bartender was not friendly or accommodating. Food was overcooked shriveled up My crab legs tasted bad. It’s crazy to over cook lobster but they did what a disappointment Unfortunately I will not be back I do love Cajun in Seafood ! there is a Great Cajun Seafood place in Worcester that is way better than this . I’ve been to these places in Savannah and other places and normally love them. When I think about what I could’ve gotten at another seafood place ...... I could’ve gotten two 2 pound baked stuff lobster dinners at Maine seafood or I could’ve gotten 10 lobster dinner at Schermerhorn‘s. Or four humongous fisherman platters at Bernie’s I went because I read the reviews. They were highly good but I kind of think they’re made up or what I ordered was just not that great, maybe the $145 shovel had a lot of food maybe they just really messed up with my order? I spent 20 years cooking seafood out on Cape Cod at a few Nice restaurants so I have a sense and appreciation for...

Went on 7/21/2020.... Super nice place inside. Gorgeous bar inside, but I was disappointed because we were unable to order alcohol of any sort. BUT....The service was fast and very polite. For "starters" we ordered fried clam strips $9, I truly thought they were amazing, lightly fried not greasy at all! Served in a cardboard box as shown in picture. I ordered scallops by the pound $25, there was about 15 scallops in my order. The scallops were cooked perfectly and I'm very picky!! My friend ordered clams by the pound $15. Sadly, I didn't get a picture or a count on her order but they were both ordered with garlic and butter seasoning and no spice. They were very flavorful, even though they were not "cajun/spicy" next time lol The by the pound orders came in a bag inside a metal tray. I'm not completely sure if we were supposed to dump the bag into the tray or keep it in the bag. However, in light of the current pandemic and cleanliness factors we chose to keep them in the bags. Overall, I was very happy with the entire experience. My only issue was not being able to enjoy an adult beverage, but I do plan on going back very soon! If I could give a 4.5 that's honestly more of an accurate rating. I'm sure the bar will open at some point, but the food was definitely...

Great joint to eat seafood.

Atmosphere: the restaurant is cozier and more welcoming than the crab joint in Springfield (Juicy Crab Seafood). Both places are more or less identical.

The tables and seats felt a bit grimy.

The restroom was fairly clean, could be a bit cleaner but no complaints.

There is ample parking around the restaurant, I can't imagine it filling up, but you can always park in the mall lot next door.

The food: was excellent. Regular crab legs didn't have much meat in them, but snow crab and Alaskan King crab had plenty of meat. All the sides and trimmings we're delicious, it's very easy to fill up on the fries, chicken wings, or potatoes and corn.

Free refills on the soda orders was a welcomed surprise. The bucket of beer worked well for our table.

The service: the waitress was pleasant and helped our table we'll, although at times we couldn't find her despite the restaurant being somewhat empty. The hostess and bartender were very friendly. We felt well taken care of.

The price: seafood is definitely pricey. Market prices vary so it's hard to pinpoint a price, but expect to spend $50-100 easily per person if you order seafood. There are daily specials to mix and match and help cut down the cost.
