This place is a gem I wish I had known about earlier! It's an unassuming little place with excellent service and amazing food. We went for takeout and decided to try everything they had to offer. The couple working were so friendly! We were shown each order to make sure we were happy with it before paying and leaving.
We got orders of chicken momos, veggie momos, samosas, baras, and parathas. Each order came with sauce. The only thing I would say that has even a hint of criticism is towards ourselves and that's that I wish we had asked for more sauce for the momos. The sauce is perfection. Everything we ordered was perfection. Not only that- it reheats really well so when you order as much food as we did, you get excellent food for a couple days.
We'll happily go here again for more momos.
Accessibility: there is accessible parking, the restaurant is small but the tables are accessible for a wheelchair and there's enough room to maneuver around throughout the restaurant with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst time trying this place and will absolutely be back. My friend and I both got a combo plate, which came with a samosa, bara, three chicken momos and two veggie momos, and a mango lassi. Everything was delicious, but the chicken momos were my favorite -- maybe some of the best I've had. The bara was also next level, and the mango Lassi was superb. The man working (I assume the owner?) was extremely friendly and very attentive. We dined in and got our food fairly quickly -- it was fresh and piping hot but maybe only took ten or so minutes to get. It was very quiet in there -- no one else stopped in while we ate -- but maybe that's common for early afternoon on a Sunday. Regardless, lll definitely come back again and will probably just get an order of the chicken momos because they are that good. If you're in the neighborhood, or just a fan of momos of Nepalese food, definitely give this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have no affiliation to this place but I will have to admit that this is the best Nepalese momo I have had in MSP. Most other restaurants cheap out on the filling, and the momos here have plenty, of filling, and one order does make you full. I think this momo tastes exactly like how we make our momo at home (in the US). While many other restaurants are closing post covid, this is a nice addition to our community and I really hope it won't close out.
For people who are complaining about the service being slow, I think you should know that this is not exactly like other fast foods, they steam their dumplings after getting the order to maintain the freshness, if you don't want to wait then order in advance, otherwise be prepared to wait about 20 mins, the wait will be worth...
