So me and my significant other wanted to join plans and moved from at&t and tmobile to join verizon. We were excited and thought this was the best choice. We ordered the 16 pro online and thought it’d be best to pick up in store. So we did just that at the Blaine location because they said it was in stock. Well upon ordering, we received an email saying the phones were back ordered and would not arrive until 3 weeks later. Knowing this, we canceled. Just a side note, it’s a terrible process to call customer care and get it to happen. Well we did that and decided to order again, with a different location(Eagan), this time we confirmed they had the 16 pros and felt confident. Well, we were wrong…. again. It turns out our order never went through, so we drove out to Eagan and the employees were pretty friendly at first. But it’s like after hearing our terrible experience so far, they had no idea and had no answers for us. The assistant manager came after one of the staff tried to come to a conclusion, which honestly he was trying his best. Anyway, the assistant manager came over and gave us this tone of voice like he didn’t want us to be there. He was loud and quite frankly, useless when it came to options. Mind you, we did come in about an hour and a half before closing. But i guess i was just expecting answers and someone who cared about his clients.
At this point we were out of options, until we cane to this location. With little to no hope, we were out of ideas and decided to give it one last try. We came in and we were greeted instantly. We were set up with the employee named Huy, and this dude was great. Like other reviews, Huy actually loves what he does and understood our situation. This guy was great at finding us deals and options and set us up to walk out in 20 minutes with our new phones and plan. If it wasn’t for Huy, we wouldve walked away from verizon, but i’m glad we met Huy. He deserves a raise, and employee of the month or whatever they do. Read moreI recently purchased a new phone and was having trouble getting it activated. I stopped into this store because it's only a few minutes from my home. The store manager Ellie was at the front of the store and was not helping any customers. I explained that my phone would not activate and asked if she could help.
She asked if I purchased the phone from Verizon, I told her no I purchased the phone from Best Buy. She then told me that there is "nothing she can do" and I need to talk to Best Buy. She refused to even look at my new phone.
So I then drove 20 minutes to Best Buy and explained the situation. The Best Buy employee agreed that it was ridiculous that the Verizon store manager would refuse to help me. The extremely helpful Best Buy employee called Verizon customer support and was able to get the phone activated.
Ellie could have easily done the same, but instead, she refused to help me at all. I have been a Verizon customer for 10 years and this is the worst customer support I have ever experienced.

Read moreSo this is strictly off my experience here today as I’m sitting here I’ve been in the store for a hour there was a mix up with my order and the shipping route. These gentleman in this store seemed very dry and unenthusiastic to help me it was as if they thought I was some kind of issue or something now let me be clear I’m a business account holder. So you’re dealing with an independent contractor with an LLC interestingly enough, I’m being treated as if I’m not a top tier. Customer very disappointed to say the least terrible experience and what I noticed was I was being put off and each time that I was being put off the customer that was being helped a different ethnicity. I don’t wanna play the race. It says a lot when you have an African-American woman waiting and you keep servicing, a different race of individuals and not checking back with that individual until you check with your walk-in customers that are just coming through the door . So my recommendation is for anyone that is looking to get good service and feel that they’re buckets being appreciated to not go to this location.
