Obviously, Applebee’s doesn’t understand the meaning of curbside!!! I sat in my car for almost 10 mins. I went in and stood by the sign for curbside for another 5 mins. and 3 servers walking by saying nothing. Finally, I went to the bar for curbside service because that makes sense right?!
The only server close by (Tall girl, with a white headband) tells me she isn’t on yet. I said, " Yeah and obviously no one else is either." Someone at the bar would handle it the server said. My carry out had been sitting at the bar for awhile needless to say and was a cold mess! I said "Well, I bet his is my take out." It had my name on it! I am thinking really? I order online and then had to go into the restaurant and play a game called, "Can you guess where your food is?" Ugh! No one has time for this type of stupidness.
The server seeing that I am aggravated yells , "Have a great day with a harassing and confrontational tone." I said, "I will because I won’t come here again." I will write a review online and email corporate thanks to you for being a jerk! She might not have been on yet, but her mouth sure was. I decided to write a review and compose an email to corporate as I sat in the car at curbside. I guess we will see who has a great day, huh?!
If you know and understand how curbside works, then is place isn’t for you. You will have to get out of the car, chase down your food and bypass several pitfalls; servers who could careless and have bad attitudes then trying to figure out where your food might be located.... go to bar. hint
I don't need to call management because I don't want anything from you other than for you to provide a basic service. I have a stupid 100.00 gift card and so giving me a free dinner only prolongs that drama that I have to endure. ( The huge reason NOT to give gift cards!!!!) A conversation with me can't help you see the issues with your restaurant; No one is scheduled for curbside, why is food on the bar when you have curbside and attitudes of servers need to be adjusted. You might need to do a "Starbucks" and have a 4 hour meeting on how to treat people and processes. This place is a mess and if you (management) can't see it, then a conversation with me can't help you. The fact that you act unaware and shocked by the above mentioned is amazing to me. How can you...
Read moreHad dinner here on Sunday 07/07/2024 and was very disappointed to say the least. I ordered the Southwest Chicken Bowl and French Onion Soup. The soup was ok, could have had more broth but it was tasty. The bowl on the other hand was pretty much inedible for the following reasons. The lettuce was almost to the point of needing to be thrown out, wilted and discolored. There were several pieces of crispy chicken mixed in with the grilled chicken. There were two pieces of soggy bread in the mix. I called the server over and she was very apologetic about the entire situation and offered something else which I declined. She took the bowl away and when she showed it to the manager on duty he literally looked over, said something I could neither make out or lip read and then laughed. The server came back later and I asked her if it was standard for the manager to not come to a table that had an issue with food and she just kind of looked at me. They did comp the item but had I had a gluten allergy or if the lettuce would have been tainted with some food borne pathogen I could have gotten really sick either way. I have noticed the past few times we have eaten there that the quality of the food has gone way down hill and management could care less about their patrons having a good experience. We will not be back here and I highly recommend spending your money somewhere else (like McDonalds - at least you know you would be getting semi fresh food). Oh ... I also filled out the questionnaire on the ziosk pay station and have yet to receive a call from corporate or the store inquiring about...
Read moreCame in at 11:20 for dinner after a long shift, server was very nice, super sweet - our food took a little while to come out so we were there till 12:20. First bite of my Mac n cheese and I pull out this long, dark, curly hair. (I am a pixie cut blonde and my boyfriend has short brown hair.) I almost threw up. Usually I’m not one to care too much. I just pick it out and eat. Things happen. But I literally almost got sick. I had already paid and tipped. My boyfriend’s pasta (same as my Mac n cheese) was cold. Our food took 30 minutes to come out and it was cold? I got a medium rare steak, fries, Mac n cheese and my boyfriend got the honey hot chicken tender pasta dish. (2 for $32). I am never one to complain, and like I said - our server was SUPER sweet - I tipped $15 on a $40 meal . She asked if I wanted the manager to come out and maybe comp it, and I say yes but I had already paid, before our food came out because I didn’t want them to have to wait on us for registers and stuff. So I asked for boxes. She brought them out, asked if she could do anything else, I said no, then we left. I’ll call in tomorrow and revise this review. This was our first time coming in a LONG time and it’s just so disappointing. Cold food, and a long hair in my mouth. Photos attached. Ew. Just ew.
Edit: The manager called and profusely apologized. We received a refund and offered a free meal whenever we were/if we were ever comfortable enough to go. Very pleased with the professionalism and help from the...
