Cafe Annie's — Restaurant in West Virginia

I love this place, good food good drinks, good atmosphere but the last three visits with the day turn manager C., Her attitude was short, disrespectful and rude.. the first 2 visits, I had a good rapport with C.talking about hospitals where each lived and so on. So I'm not sure what changed, maybe because I had asked her how I like my drinks made, ice filled to the top the liquor and then the mix with a lime on the side. I had asked her could u put ice in it next and her response was" Ur going have to give me a minute," I said Ok and asked if she could put the lime on the side instead of put it in the drink because I don't like the peel in the drink she had no response, just with a look. 2nd is the temperature was very uncomfortable gambling sweating in the leather chair, Ihad to turn on the fan right behind me because it was 80° inside and 70 on the outside, the second time I mentioned the temperature only to the shift change person and her response was " It was on 80 she always has it cranked up and wears a t-shirt, Iprob cost heating bills".. 3rd on Friday,I said I thought T. was working day, out of concern, C. responce was "do u have problem, my resonce was "not at all"...So then I was told not to be so picky and when I see the white car outside to avoid coming in till 3:00 or 4:00, which is ridiculous why should I,a customer not have good experience and cuz I'm a customer that spends a lot of money, in gambling drink tips, I even tiped C. $2 for my drink, before she left for day. Kate. I didn't want to address this here but I could not obtain ur number from any of the staff... just hope it is as corrective criticism by trying to obtain good customer...

We went to eat great burgers and fries per other reviews. Why has NO one said you have to be 21 to Enter? Outside door says NO children as well. When we went in the second door was locked and had to be activated to open from inside. Upon entry everyone at the bar… which included 5 patrons and a female bartender turned to look at us. No one said hello or welcome or how can I help you. Very Smokey from all inside smoking. I looked around for a few seconds, still no help from bartender, and then turned around and left. The best little place for burgers and fries. My husband loves burgers so we try them no matter where we are. The guy at the bar was awesome and a great cook. We have seen this place on our way to pick up trailers in indiana since 2004, we are sorry it took us 14 years to finally stop. It's a small menu but good comfort food. The place is spotless ..i'm m sure you could eat off the floors. Its got a cute bar you sit and watch them cook and eat, no tables but I find that as cool. Also you must be 21 to enter.
