Stopped at Texas Roadhouse, Triadelphia, WV for dinner prior to going to the WV penitentiary for a tour and the Dungeon of Horrors on October 18th around 5:00 pm. First time at this location. I ordered 12 oz prime rib medium, as usual, when I received it, it was so dry I could not swallow and over half FAT. I never had prime rib that was dry and prime rib is usually a little fatty, but edible. This was so bad when I told our server, she said she’d tell the kitchen so they are aware. What kind of response is that? We sat at the bar, due to time constraints and I don’t think the bar server really cared. My husband had the 12 oz New York Strip and his meal was fine. I never had a bad meal at any Texas Roadhouse, but this was so bad when I took it home my 90 lb Pit bull would not eat the Prime Rib. Will never eat at the Triadelphia ,WV location again.

To be fair... Usually this has been a good experience.. But we've noticed gradual changes that this will probably be our last visit. Again to be fair, service has consistently been prompt and friendly. The smaller New York Strip at other locations still looks like a strip steak, here it looks like a left over piece of meat. Tiny, irregular, thin on one end, thicker on the other... So cooked to order only applies to one half and the other end is burnt and dry. The rolls have gone from nice sized to small ... As in tiny sized. Again I'm going by the other locations that we occasionally visit. But how can they even plate these itty bitty pieces as rolls? Just a steady decline that we no longer find worth the price. What a shame because we made it our place to stop when at the Highlands.

I seldom give 5 stars, but there was no other option. It was pretty much a flawless meal in all aspects. The waitress, Maggie was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant was clean and up kept. The food was fabulous and served hot. The country fried chicken and burger were excellent. Furthermore the 2 kids meals were good also. It was not expensive either, the price point was low considering the quality of food. The bathroom could of used a little attention, if I really wanted to find any flaw. The waitress, management, and cook staff deserve 2 thumbs for there effort. I would recommend and go back when I'm back in the area.

I've gone to this specific texas roadhouse 3 times before writing this review to make sure I was going to get repeat service.

First time I ordered chicken fried steak and got breading and gristle the waitress never came back to our table after the food came out, and my wifes ribs were dry and overcooked.

The second time I ordered a steak and my wife ordered a steak, both came out wrong mine was mid rare, my wifes well done. Both came out medium and it took a lot longer than normal to get food, on top of this poor wait staff again.

The last time our waitress "ducked out early" so our second waiter (who was the star of the show) never came over I ordered steak (rare this time to cover foe the overcooked last steak) and ribs and my wife got roadkill, woth know mushroom and cooked well done. The first time hers came out undercooked and mine was overcooked, we asked for hers to be done more. Ot was brought back out after we asked for it and it had mushroom on it. The manager beought it over when we asked about the mushroom the manager said "are you allergic? No, ok good I will scrape it off." By this point i have finished my meal and we were asked by the manager if we wanted a box for her food. I said the second waiter was the star of the show and he was, he finally found out we were his table and apologized repeatedly, and was doing everything he could to help.

To say the least we wont be going back and we have multiple giftcarda to use for this texas roadhouse and we tore them up. I will gladly use my own money at a...

My wife and I recently visited the Texas Roadhouse in Triadelphia with our children and their families to celebrate my birthday. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome and seated promptly. The decor was nice.

The food, unfortunately, was a mixed experience. We ordered five exact steaks cooked the same way, but mine was the only one that was somehow overcooked. The waitress noticed it immediately when we cut into it as she had asked. By the time they returned with my corrected steak, everyone else was already finished with their meals. This was quite disappointing and really ruined the experience, as it was a special occasion that I will never be able to get back. Given the situation, I believe they should have made an effort to make up for the disappointment.

The service was okay but not spectacular. Our server was attentive and friendly, but there were some small details that could have been improved to make the experience even better.

I spoke with the manager, who mentioned they had been there for 7 years. While it's clear they have experience, it didn't seem to reflect in the overall dining experience that night. I feel that they should have done more to address the situation and make up for the disappointment, especially since it was a special occasion. We spent $335 on this meal.

Overall, this experience was well below what we had experienced a few weeks ago at the LongHorn Steakhouse. For future visits, we will be likely be choosing LongHorn for a more consistent and enjoyable...

Outstanding meal and outstanding service. The tone was set from the very beginning that I would be in for a treat. As a hostess was taking me to my table she reached over a few feet from the hostess stand to grab a basket of bread sitting under a heat lamp on a countertop from the kitchen. And a bag of peanuts. I have never had an experience where the hostess is taking food with her as she accompanies me to my seat. Let's be honest. In most restaurants after you sit down these days you wait 10 to 15 minutes just to get a glass of water or to order a drink. The hostess of Alexis was curious kind and engaging. My server Julie has me thinking now 3 hours after being back in my hotel as I wonder if I will ever have service that good again. The food was excellent. There was not a seat in the house, they were jamming and they ended up on a wait list. And with those circumstances I was amazed that after I placed my order I had my salad 5 minutes later. A delicious Caesar salad with great Caesar dressing. Amazingly 10 minutes later my steak and baked potato entree arrived to my table. How the kitchen accomplished this so professionally and tastefully belies my comprehension. I take my hat off to all of them while applauding them all, especially Samantha a hands on enthusiastic manager who's professionalism sets the tone for the other employees to follow attempting to even exceed her. Thank you all I had...
