I, Shelia Saunders, visited this place 11/18/2020. I ordered a hot mocha with extra whip cream. Drove to stop sign realized no whip cream or chocolate was in coffee. I returned to drive-thru and was told whip cream had been added but they would make another one. At the window I encountered the rudest, unprofessional behavior from supervisor named (B.....). She handed the worker a cup of whip cream (no chocolate) and told her to tell me to put that in my coffee. She said it with the nastiest personality. I pulled the lid off of coffee I had been given and showed it was clearly not what I had ordered.
I replied I will not put this in the coffee you have given me. Do your job and fix it right. I was told to pull up and someone would bring it out to me. I never have a problem with pulling up to wait for an order, anywhere. However, because of the disrespectful, horrible attitude of (B) I refused to move. I said I am a valued customer just like everyone else in this line and I will not move. A manager named (C) was called to the window. I showed him what I was given. He immediately apologized and I was given the correct order. I feel sorry for the employees working there who put their lives on the line by having to work during covid19. They have to endure being subjected to the whims of an ignorant, untrained person who has allowed a little bit of power and authority to go to her head. She is not able to handle it correctly. Please mandate that (B) take a course in human relations skills, supervisory and management skills. Show her how to deal with her employees and the customers. She should be demoted until she can clearly demonstrate positive change. She should be made to apologize to the workers for her behavior. SUPER SHAME ON YOU (B).
I did call manager (C) and express my concerns. He was very understanding and took my...
Read moreMy name is Denise Williams. MY husband's family has owned a McDonald's for 20 years. When they still owned it I was general manager for 15 years. I'm here to give praise and show some jealousy. I dined in and the gentlemen "Aaron" took our order this Easter Sunday. I noticed he missed an item asked for after he read my order back. He smiled and said I do apologize let me fix that. He asked for a manager and she explained it was his fifth day of training. Has extremely polite very knowledgeable for someone on their 5th day of training. As we ate we saw this man take dine in orders while also working the drive thru head set. It was very busy. Here's the thing. He also cleaned the lobby, took out the trash and cleaned the bathrooms in a quick and timely manner. They had him running food to third pick up window and curbside. We saw him making specialty drinks helping with fry side and bagging. For an obviously short staffed store, what an amazing employee you have with Aaron. This is an example of an asset any company would be lucky to have and a star employee. So to the McDonald's store on oakvale road in a town called princeton in west virginia, please recognize the gem you have with Mr Aaron. If he's not going into management or getting lined up for even a General manager in your district, I would be shocked and disappointed. Again, you have quite an asset with this employee. Please show your appreciation to him, and bring to his attention that even your customers notice how wonderful he truly is. We would happily come back and direct anyone to this store to to be treated as a customer should be treated like Aaron did with us. If we still had our store I would PAY to have that man come to my store to show our employees how it's done. Thank you for the wonderful experience and the amazing show we got out of...
Read moreMy boyfriend had a bad experience last week with one of the drive thru employees calling him the n-word (he's white btw) but we went tonight because it was close to his home and we were going there after we got food. we pull up to the drive thru and nobody is on the speaker. time is 11:30 and there are people in the dining room, and one car behind us in the drive thru line. we sat there for 10 minutes, repeating "hello?" "are you still open?" and "can you hear us?" to no answer. we pull around and the car behind us pulls up to the speaker. we try to open the doors (time is 11:40) and the doors are locked. the sign says they're open until 12, and so does google and the my mcdonald's app. we keep trying the door but it's cold outside, so we go back to the car and call them. the phone rang for several minutes before a manager answers the phone. we tell her our situation and we can hear her asking her staff if they had locked the doors, if they had heard us at the drive thru, etc. she explains that they had just taken a drive thru order, which i assume was the car that was behind us, and that she's sending someone to open the doors. we get inside and order our food. to be honest, the food did not take long to get to us at all. but there were two other families waiting for their orders still in the dining room. overall, the experience was a lot more difficult than it had to be. we had just seen a movie and were wanting to get the minecraft meal to get skins for minecraft. they were obviously still taking orders, and it wasn't time to close the doors quite yet. our total time spent at this mcdonald's was between 25 and 30 minutes. definitely not...
