We were jumped on as soon as we walked in. We explained we had not been there before and needed time to review the menu board, which is confusing. The cashier didn't care we hadn't been there and needed time. She kept asking our name to place the order and if it was dine in/to go. If customers aren't ready, don't push. There wasn't even anyone behind us. If there was, we ALWAYS let others go ahead when we are undecided.

Picture 2- Orange Chicken bowl and white rice, regular size $10.79. He was told it was "spicy ". It isn't. It was bland.

Picture 1- Spicy Chicken Teriyaki bowl, brown rice and vegetables. Jr size $9.09. DO NOT LET the company stock photos fool you. I asked the cashier what vegetables came with it. Since I love cooked broccoli I got them. 99% of the vegetables were greased cabbage. Look close at the picture for the half pea size piece of broccoli. There were two of them. Three slivers of zucchini, a few shreds of carrot and the rest was cabbage. Chicken was dry and the taste of the grill marks chicken over powered the spices, Teriyaki and actual chicken.

The prices are too high for what we get. Neither bowl even had much meat. The pieces are smaller than any Chinese chicken food we've eaten. Not even a chicken thigh combined. Rice is super cheap.

Indoor seating could be better. There are 2 or 3 booths. A couple bar like seating tables and a few high bar bar style tables. Need more booths as they give separation from people. Our high table was literally so close to other people we could have held hands.

We were told NO samples of the yum sauce or the other which she said was so hot it bothered her when it's made in the store. We could buy 2oz for $.75 each. Really? Just a dab is all that's needed to sample, not...

Edit: I do forget Edinburg Texas that place has this gas station with this mama cooking this hamburger rice hotdish with these tamales that is probably the best food in the entire world I have ever eaten Edinburg Texas this little gas station best slushies in the world the best little diner in this corner of the gas station so West Virginia and Virginia you come second to that gas station in Edinburgh well that says a lot cuz those are the three best places in the country that I have had food

First picture is as soon as I got the food second picture 5 minutes later this is so good and anybody who knows me knows that I don't do meet I especially don't eat chicken and that's just cuz I grew up on a farm we had our own chicken and the chicken today is not the same as a chicken on the farm will this place has teriyaki chicken is so yummy as soon as I found out that I was headed to Virginia I stopped eating no offense Iowa your food compares nowhere near the food in West Virginia and Virginia out of all the places in the country I've been West Virginia and Virginia the best f** food ever doesn't matter where you go doesn't matter if it's a gas station or a restaurant or a fast food it is so good thank you to everybody in these two states for being...

You need to understand the context before going here and to make sense of the other reviews. I’m not from here, and I don’t know why this location is here. I was shocked to see it from the highway.

This location sells healthy food in a small town in the unhealthiest state in the US. I like the food, having first tried it in Southlake, Texas.

Yes it’s a little expensive, but I didn’t have to eat fried junk tonight and when I walked through the door it went a long way to reduce my homesickness. It’s modern and clean inside, which is highly unusual for this area. The food was not as good as when I had it in Texas, but it wasn’t bad, either.

Yes, my some of chicken was slightly burnt and dry.

Yes, it takes a weirdly long amount of time for them to make your order.

Yes, it’s not the cheapest place in town. Healthy food costs more, and that’s just a universal truth that is not unique to this chain.

If your dining objective is most calories-per-dollar, you will get upset eating here. But that kind of logic is also why WV ranks dead last in the list of healthiest...

When we came in and ordered the food ,the cashier asked if we will be dinning in or takeout . We told her we would be dinning in. We came in to Teriyaki madness at 8:30pm not knowing the restaurant was about to close (9pm) when our food was ready they told us we could not dine in as they were closing. We ended up having no choice and to eat it in the car. They did not give us utensils so we had to go back and bang on the window. The salmon teriyaki was burned and the chicken breast teriyaki was very dry. The edamame beans were not cooked enough. We asked for gluten free soy sauce due to an allergy and found out the hard way after eating it that it wasn't gluten free. The food itself tastes average nothing special comparing to all the Japanese food we always had. Probably won't come here again.
