TOAST N’ TAP — Restaurant in West Warwick

Went today with my husband for breakfast. Small, very clean place with self seating. Lex was our server and came to our table smiling. When I ordered coffee she said she just had a fresh pot on and would be right back. Piping hot good coffee with plenty of creamer on the table. We asked if the hash was homemade and she said it was and people liked it. I like my potatoes crispy and she said they could be done that way or deep fried. So my husband got the hash and cheese omelette with fried potatoes with thick sliced sourdough toast. Oh so good and hash wasn't salty- was chunky and delish. I had one pancake with fresh blueberries that was huge - like 2 regular size ones. Fluffy and perfectly cooked with a side of bacon cooked well as I asked . It was 4 large slices. Lex stopped by to see how we were and if we needed anything. She gave me a box to take my food home and honestly was one of the most pleasant servers I've had in a long time at any restaurant. The owner Ryan stopped by at all tables and we told him how good the food was and our server, Lex so attentive and pleasant. They've been open 15 months. We said we live near Conimicut area but when nearby definitely coming back. A very clean place with a bar as well. Even an outside area to sit when weather is good. Small Parking lot. My first visit to Toast & Tap tonight, best word to describe everything about it was AMAZING!! I had the chef choose my meal. He chose the Cuben, it was out of this world magnificent!!! Hubby had the actual Ruben, he said it was phenomenal !!! Another one in our party had the steak sandwich 👍👍 and a Flat bread, chosen also by the chef, which was shared with me and the Cuben!! Love letting the chef choose my meals wherever I go. The fries were fabulous and my Margarita made by the great bartender was another two thumbs up👍👍Will I go again?? ABSOLUTELY and can’t wait to share my experience with friends. The decor was beautiful and fun!! My bf and I were looking for a place in a Saturday morning for our weekend breakfast/lunch. We decided to get lunch. I got the Buffalo Wrap and he got the Chicken Parm Panini. The place had a decent atmosphere, was quite full but there were tables open. Mozzy sticks were good tho one was thrown into the marinara sauce, The Chicken parm panini was basically like your average chicken and bread sandwich, nothing to brag about. I do have to talk about the wrap. It was uneven with the buffalo sauce, I had given my bf a half and it was messy and mine wasn’t messy whatsoever. The blue cheese crumble stuff I didn’t like.
