Marketplace Center — Local services in Warwick

Went to Micheals to get some crafts to do during school vacation. Usually it’s fairly quick and easy. Not anymore 🙄🙄….

Apparently since my last visit (which wasn’t too long ago) they installed self service checkouts. We all know how accurate and user friendly those are!! I’m guessing that in an effort to avoid a extended store closure and also to save money these checkouts were installed where they originally had registers. So there’s no staggered pattern or separate area like in other stores.

So now there are more self-checkouts than checkouts with an employee…. odd. There’s one new self-checkout already out of order (super impressive)and the worst part is that you have to either wait or “squeeze” past someone …ewe…using them to get to the checkout with an actual employee since the only two employee operated registers are the furthest from you when you’re in line! And of those two, they only had one opened ….with the only “live” cashier telling everyone in line they could use the self-checkout!

I doubt I’ll be back anytime soon, especially since Covid is still making its presence known and now the 6ft. rule is absolutely non-existent here. Don’t know how this even became possible but to me the area screams PROFIT, PROFIT, PROFIT…. which has completely...

I don't find the place to be not clean or sanitized it's not that it's more of the fact of the customer service and the owners than not very friendly towards people and the way they talk unfortunately that is a big to me first impression if the owners are very disrespectful so to me no I would not recommend this place but...

They don't have everything but is a good selection of rare and hard to find items. I particularly enjoyed their exotic foods isle on which they had many fruit drinks and cantaloupe which I had never seen before. Will definitely be going back soon really great ask for Saul he makes the best...
