The craft classes are being taught by a very patient and knowledgeable woman, named Donna, and they’ are worth checking out . This teacher is a wealth of information .

The Monday evening classes we have attended , have been free ( yes , free ) and my ten year old daughter absolutely loves them . This teacher is very kind with my daughter and gives her confidence while she learning a new skill .

My daughter has learned the art of decorating cupcakes and cookies , using tools and fondant . She has also learned to table knit and created a beautiful scarf in one session . The classes are for both adults and children . I’ve learned and have enjoyed them as well.,

I suspect theses classes are one of the “best kept secrets around” , because I had difficulty getting information about them . If you ask for a schedule at the register, they will be eager to look for you , but they may have to search around for a minute or two . The staff at the register are always polite and willing to be more than helpful , yet no one seems to know much about theses classes . I never attended these classes before , because I couldn’t get clear answers regarding them . One day a few weeks ago, I just decided to drop in and we have been attending regularly since .,

Did an order online for same day curbside pickup. I ordered it at 11 am . Didn’t hear anything from them and it was 330, and I was suppose to have it to my son in college by 530. Went in and waited in line 15 mins for them to tell me it wasn’t ready. They said I would get a text when ready. I live 30 minutes away so I waited around the area until it was almost 630!! They close at 7 so I went back there and waited in line again, to be told once again, order wasn’t ready!! I had told my son I would bring it there at 8 pm since I missed him earlier and he needed his supplies for a morning class. The cashier got the same girl from the afternoon over and she repeated it wasn’t ready. I explained I ordered it at 11 am and was guaranteed sane day pick up. She said it takes a while for the order to show up in their computer after you order. I said well it’s been 7 and a half hours and I need it before you close. She wasn’t going to get the order until I told her I was going to cancel the order and get the things myself!!! She gave an exasperated breath and said she would do it but wasn’t guaranteeing me I’d have it before closing!!! She had it done by 7 and I grabbed it and left. Terrible experience and horrible customer service from that employee!! I will be finding another art supply store to use because I have another 4 years to get supplies for college and I’m not going to deal with...

I have been getting my craft supplies at ACMoore for quite awhile now but since they've closed down I am back to Michael's. The prices are great. The Rewards Program is great and is a real motivator for me to spend more time crafting than I have in awhile which has intrinsic benefits including more relaxation for me. And while I was impressed with the larger variety of crafting supplies they have since I last shopped there regularly, I was truly disappointed in the yarn selection and at how much was out of stock too. Shopping for yarn has always been a pleasure for me but I found myself very frustrated trying to find 4 skiens from the same lot and of each of three different colors made by the same company and of the same type and have them be something close to the three colors i was specifically looking for that day. On the upside, I guess, I discovered that had a variety of colors of crochet thread if I take up doily making or filetwork again. I will keep shopping there and hopefully I will find the yarn section replenished and more appealing next month. The cashiers and staff were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly wishes really goes far these days. I can always find a better selection of yarn online but if I need to brainstorm or problem-solve a project, Michael's staff can and I trust will be...
