Funny to see all of the people complaining about the "terrible" food. These are likely the people that go back to the buffet 6-7 times and then complain afterwards that the food gave them a stomach ache.
It's a buffet. You don't go to a buffet and expect 5-star cuisine. Don't be ridiculous.
An honest review? It's above average. The dining and serving areas are kept relatively clean, and the servers are pleasant and attentive. The food is above average for a buffet. Are some of the options not as fresh? Yes. But what do you expect? You think they are going to throw away a $100 slab of meat just so you won't leave them a bad review (when you were going to find something else wrong to complain about anyway)?
The internet has convinced everyone that they are a Michelin food critic with millions of loyal followers chomping at the bit for their next post . Give me a f'in break. No one cares about your two-bit opinion on EVERYTHING. Including informed and objective...
Read moreThe food was actually pretty good. No complaints. The girl cleaning up our plates was on top of it and bringing drinks. So that was good. The 2 complaints I have is, the girl who helped at the register. Communication was bad when she was seating us. She was doing both jobs. She walked away really fast and didn't say a word and I finally figured out we were supposed to follow her. Then from 10 feet away she asked us if we wanted a booth or a table. I said a booth. Then she walked even faster and I had to figure out on my own that she was getting us a booth. No, "Walk this way" "Sure no problem" "Enjoy your meal". Nothing. Also, when we went to leave, the only way out was between two tables that had a cart where someone was cleaning off the tables. They saw us coming and just ignored us and didn't bother moving the cart, so we had to squeeze to get by. It may be little things to some people, but, really... the customer service needs to be a...
Read moreSecond time here for the Friday Seafood Extravaganza. Mostly came for the crab legs which were pretty good. I was highly disappointed in most of the seafood selection. Shrimp scampi, steamed muscles, poached salmon & the oysters all tasted “off”, like when seafood is starting to go bad. Our Oysters were still half frozen!! Also had my kids in tow and the mac and cheese was not kid approved. The food we did enjoy (besides crab legs) was the shrimp cocktail, tuna steak, chicken, salad bar, lasagna and tacos.
The service was way better than usual buffet service. And as other reviews have said, the desserts are definitely worth it. The flan and tiramisu were my favorites.
Overall 3 stars because they’re charging a premium price of $34 for Friday Seafood Extravaganza and maybe 90% of the seafood wasn’t fresh. At least the crab...
