I went to bajas with my girlfriend for the first time on 9/12/25 at 5:00pm. I was in line waiting to order our food when I watched the dude preparing everyone’s food make a lady ahead of us some shrimp tacos. The guy put the shrimp on the tacos with tongs then adjusted them with his hands. He then proceeded to slide a chicken quesadilla down the line for another customer ahead of us with the same gloves he had touched the shrimp with. I watched this man cross contaminate every taco and rice bowl and every single handle for the food served and containers for other customers orders. I have a shrimp allergy and decided to opt out of ordering anything because if he was so careless on the line imagine how careless the employees are during food prep and storage. Which is a shame because the food looked delicious. We ended up ordering my girlfriend’s food only, paid and left. The staff need to be re-trained on the importance of allergies and how critical it is to handle food properly. Especially shellfish which can be a deadly allergy to...
Read moreWent for a second time tonight. Arrived at 6:19pm, we didn't get to place our order until 6:45 due to the staff only focusing on online orders (Uber eats, doordash etc). They had a line to the door, behind us, and still zero focus on the people in front of them. Got a half mubble "sorry about the wait." Then they started the order. They then stopped again and focused on online orders. So our food sat unfinished for another 5 minutes. This was the same experience for every single person who came in before us as well. When I was FINALLY able to start adding the cheese and items (6:50pm) to my rice bowl, I stated tomatos, the worker dumps a bunch of Pico on it. Personal preference is no cilantro. I get and oh sorry what else?" Thats when I had enough and left. Get it together and have a second table doing the online orders or one worker...
Read moreThe first time I went, I thought it was OK. The food was OK. The prices were OK but they gave you a lot of food. The second time I won, the prices were OK. The food was OK but for $14 burrito it was very small. I almost felt like for the first week that they were open they made everything bigger so people would wanna come back and now that they’ve been open for a little bit the portion sizes have decreased a lot. If you’re mixed between this place in burrito and bowl, I’d suggest going to burrito and bowl. For the same price, you get a way bigger burrito with way better quality...
