Mr. Pizza — Restaurant in Westerly

A real artisan pizza dough will give you a billowy soft crust, blistered bubbles and a crispy bottom. It uses a high hydration and long fermentation time for maximum flavor and the perfect crackly, chewy texture.

Mr Pizza claims to offer artisan pizza but something has gone wrong somewhere in their process. We have ordered 3 times now and It doesn't matter how well done you ask them to cook your pizza, the crust is still floppy and soggy. If you pick up a slice of pizza from the outer crust and the slice immediately bends and faces the floor, something went wrong.

The crust is completely saturated with moisture all the way from the center of the pizza to about an inch from the outer edge.

The flavor is good but not good enough to overlook the faults...

My boyfriend & I traveled to Westerly for a long weekend to celebrate his Birthday. After a long day in town, we wanted to share a pizza. The ordering process was super easy online & our food was ready within 15 minutes!!

We got the Vinci Pizza & a side of fries (oops) — the pizza was AMAZING. Fresh, crisp crust, thin but sturdy undercrust, evenly distributed and generous toppings, & clearly fresh ingredients. The fries were fresh, crispy, and perfectly salted! I don’t know where else you can get this quality of food for $16 a head. Completely satisfied with leftovers for later!

Mr. Pizza lives up to the high ratings. Space has a bench to wait for your order and two high top tables if you want to dine in. We ordered a margarita pizza and ate standing at the high top. Pizza was made to order and ready in about 10 minutes. High quality ingredients had great flavor. Crust was crisp and good chew.
