I usually enjoy coming to your restaurant — the food is soothing and tasty, and the vegan wrap has been my go-to choice.
However, during my last visit, I had a disappointing experience. The person preparing the food (I believe she may be the manager) was visibly angry and arguing with a delivery driver in front of a crowd of customers. It created a very uncomfortable atmosphere, especially in a place that’s usually calm and pleasant.
On top of that, I noticed she used the same gloves to handle meat and then touched my falafel wrap. As a new vegetarian, I’m still learning, so I wasn’t overly upset — but this is still a serious issue of cross-contamination that should be addressed, especially for those who are strict vegetarians or have allergies.
I also found the portion of hummus in my wrap to be very small. When I politely raised this, she responded by yelling from the back that she made the wrap and had already added hummus. I ended up opening the wrap to show that it was barely there. The interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional.
I hope this feedback can be taken constructively — I genuinely want to keep coming back, but I hope the team can make improvements in professionalism, hygiene, and...
Read moreI went in for some lunch and it was my first time there with my girlfriend. I spent 30.00 on just two of us. I’m not sure if I just didn’t order the right stuff.. everyone says they’re great but when I got my food, it wasn’t good. The gyro my girlfriend ordered had no taste to it except for the taziki sauce.. the wrap was very rubbery and weird to chew. My steak and cheese, I ordered it on a roll and when it was brought to me, it was very soggy and the bread was falling apart. The meat had a very strong taste of black pepper. Every bite I took, nothing but black pepper and salty. It just wasn’t very good. I didn’t eat the rest of my food. I did order onion rings and every time I took a bite out of it, water leaked out of them.. idk maybe that’s normal? Other than the food not being worth the money.. the staff is very nice to be honest. They’re welcoming and quick. Just need better...
Read moreI can't believe it's been a year since I've been here last. I popped by ashamedly at 6:40, 20 mere moments before they closed. Mario didn't glare at me like most would have. I grabbed a half beef shawarma half chicken teriyaki plate, while my husband got the lamb shawarma plate. Honestly we should have gotten only one because the plates are HUGE. They come with a build your own side salad, a pita, a 16oz portion of rice pilaf covered in your chosen meat. I inquired about grape leaves, as I've never had one before. He said I'll grab one for you to try. Mario knows his products are delectable because now I can't wait to try their Maza plate. Icing on the cake is I called earlier in the day to see what time they closed. He asked me if I had been the one who called and that he'd been waiting for me. Not in a rude manor...
