No soda fountain in the lobby which was a minor inconvenience. It wouldn't have even been a problem if anyone behind the counter bothered to help customers at the counter. They just stood around and uncomfortably started at us and then at each other waiting for someone to help us. My fiance literally had to yell into the back for a couple waters multiple times to anyone who would even look at him because no one would do anything. We put our order into the kiosk, no chance of getting in person help at the counter considering no one there speaks English. The lady brought our food to our table after 10-15 minutes and I said thank you and she just stared at me like I was an alien. I ordered a Big Mac, one of the most popular items on the menu that they probably make 100s of in a day. I opened my sandwich and realized it didn't have any cheese on it. You can't make your most popular menu item correctly? I took my sandwich to the counter, where, once again we were just blankly stared at for a few minutes until someone finally came to help. I smiled and told the man that my big mac didn't have any cheese on it and he gave me a confused look and said, "... Only cheese?.." like what? Dude yeah just give me a regular big mac with cheese and everything else on it. He took my sandwich and brought me a big mac and we made our way back to our table. I opened it up and apparently dude just threw one cold slice of cheese onto my burger and gave it back to me. Silly me, thinking he'd make me a new sandwich or at the very least hoping he'd throw it back on the grill to melt it. Read moreI have been a customer of this Westfield locations for a while and I’ve always had pretty good service. Employees have always been nice, until today!!!! The manager (no name tag so I don’t know his name) was the rudest and most unprofessional human I have ever encountered! My father owned and operated several fast food restaurants (including a McDonald’s) when I was growing up, so I know a little bit about being a manager. We placed our order at the drive thru (2-$2 for $5 specials) 2-quarter pounders and a 10pc nugget and another quarter pounder. So, 4 items plus 2-lg FF. We paid and then were pulled forward to wait on the quarter pounders to finish cooking. The manager was the one that filled our order and walked it out to our car. He did not wait to see if everything was correct. When I checked the order, there were only 2-of-the 3 quarter pounders that we paid for. Everything else was correct. We drove around to the speaker (less than 1 minute from being handed the bag) and informed them that we were short one sandwich. They told us to drive up to the window with our receipt, which we did. We gave our receipt to the manager and he accused us of stealing the 3rd sandwich and lying about it not being in the bag. He said “I packed that order myself and I know there were 3 sandwiches in there”!!! So, I gave him the food back and asked for a refund. I've never had to wait long in the drive thru, even when there is a long line. Truly, these folks work at the speed of a Starbucks store. The employees are friendly and I as far as I can remember, I don't think they've ever even made a mistake with any of my orders. You don't always find this level of quality and service at other McDonald's locations around town. Thank you and Well Done, you all!
If you find yourself wanting some McDonald's, you may find it worth the extra time and effort to drive to this location. I've never had a bad experience here.
Also, I'm writing this review during the Covid-19 pandemic. But let me add, the kids Play Place was great. It is huge, and kids will have a blast. It was busy when I was there, but the room was large enough and the tables spaced far enough apart to allow for a comfortable time. Also, the noise wasn't overwhelming as it can be in, say, a Chick-Fil-A play place. I don't know if the lack of excruciatingly loud kid-playing-sounds was due to just a lucky day where the kids weren't screaming, or, if they've put up sound paneling--I don't remember seeing anything like that so maybe I jus got lucky.
