Slim Chickens — Restaurant in Westfield

Order number 25119275519885320. Since the opening of this location, I have visited the Westfield Slim Chicken many times. There seems to be an issue with pickup orders. My last previous order it took 20 minutes extra when I arrived to pick up my order. Granted they were super busy.

Fast forward to today. Order number 25119275519885320. My order supposed to be ready at 8:39pm. Please note the store wasn't busy at all. It seemed very dead with At least 8 people in the dining area and 2 people in the drive thru. When I arrived I was told my order was being worked on. Ok maybe about 5 minutes more (one would think). I didn't leave u til 8:50 with my order and had to ask for my cup for my drink and didn't get my receipt. Overall, I felt there wasn't a sense of urgency. I am a bit disappointed. I hope the next time I visit this type of issue is fixed and not as if the crew that night got through the end of the shift by a thread and for this to continue to repeat itself. For a first time customer let me be the first to say im not coming back....As someone who frequently drives down 32 you can't help but notice the small black building always wrapped with customers. I thought I'd give it a try and to my avail, it wasn't busy when I went into the drive thru. Thinking going when they are not busy increases my chances of higher quality food; however I was proven to be dead wrong. I got a "Classic Sandwhich", "fries", "okra", "fried pickles", and a "Red Velvet shake". The sandwhich and the shake were average but the sides I received were very disappointing. My fries had to have been old. Unfortunately the fried food I received wasn't cooked all the way through. Sorry to say, but you could tell it was frozen and they just threw it in a fryer(No seasoning). You can get the same quality in sides from the frozen section of your grocery store. As for service it was id say it was good other than they forgot my shake and I had to walk inside to grab it. I think you either should improve your sides or charge...

My boss and I stopped here for lunch today. Neither one of us had tried it before. The menu is unique, which I like. It has a Southern feel to it with different sides that compliment your choice of wings or tenders. They also offer a large variety of dipping sauces. I tried Cayenne Ranch and Korean BBQ and loved them both. It took 30 minutes from the time I ordered until I received it and unfortunately it was no longer hot, but it was still delicious at room temperature. My boss got her's first and was completely done eating by the time I got mine so I had to take it to go anyway. The dining room was mostly clean but not very well stocked. Overall service was friendly but a little slow for fast-food or if you only have an hour. I believe this location is fairly new so once they work out a few kinks in the kitchen I think it will be a success. The food definitely speaks for itself. Worth...
