Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Westfield

We went to sonic today because this is the week of their opening. Very clean and nice restaurant

We however waited a long while to get our whole order

My aunt whom I took with me to lunch is diabetic and they gave her a slushy with sugar

By the time we got everything brought to the car it had been almost 20 min and not everything was in the bag and we did give a tip because we paid when she delivered. she left quickly as they were busy because it is Mother’s Day we opened up the bag to find that we did not get all of our food so I went back up and got the missing items and then requested to have 2 pretzel cheese sticks they were amazing and the food was good after we took it home to warm it back up however i though ok 2 pretzels will probably wait 5 min tops think again

33 minutes later some people waiting in stalls had been there for over a hour. I get they are new just saying.

Overall food 4 stars Servers personality 4.5 Seating not much seating at restaurant but there is a nice park close by that we took our food to once we warmed it up at home with water park and kids play ground. It is a very nice peaceful place to bring the whole family

My wife and I thought to try the new Sonic recently and were pretty disappointed. It took about 10 minutes from ordering to getting our food, which I thought was good given the amount of cars in the drive thru and pull in spots around the location.

I thought we would try a few items so we both got burgers and fries, mozzarella sticks, a small fry for our son, and a specialty drink each. The only item of value was the drink. It tasted fresh and the flavorings were delicious. However, the burgers were dry and season less. The fries were room temperature, floppy, and the containers were less than half full. I asked the attendant if the containers we received were large fries and she responded cordially, “No, let me get those for you.”, and then got us two more fries of the same size (both half empty, cold, and floppy again). And yes, I checked the bottom of the bag before passing judgement on the fill quantity.

All in all, I’ll return for a good drink but there’s better value...

The food gets a 3 only for the sandwiches. The fries are always cold which leads me to ask for sauce to cover up the fact they’re cold. The people that work here are super rude. I had a few mobile orders today and asked for an extra sauce even though I had already paid for one. We offered to pay for another one. She asked why we needed it. The lady then goes and gets a manager who comes to the window and asked how many we had in the bag. We had one. We just wanted another one. I didn’t think it would be much of a deal. But she was just rude about it. And then gave us a honey mustard and a marinara? Before shutting the window. I’m just confused if they were mad about 3 mobile orders? We had a total of 4 sandwiches and 2 fries within the orders. The rest were drinks. My drink also spilt all over me when she handed it to me because the lid wasn’t on it. This is the only time I’ve ever been treated like this at this location. So maybe the staff involved can be made aware of how to treat customers...
