I waited coming here quite a few times to review. I tried the turkado, beef dip, spicy beef dip, pastrami, Baja chicken and turkey club. I would say the spicy beef dip and the pastrami are incredible tasty hot sandwiches that demand one of their great beers to go with it. Definitely my two favorites.
But if I was feeling like needing to be healthy I'd go with turkado and an iced tea. Turkado is the perfect turkey sandwich you'll stop trying to make at home.
I thought the French roll on the cold sandwiches made the sandwich tougher but still good If you like that kind of bread. But the French roll shines on the hot sandwiches.
I also favored the slided meats over the chicken. The Baja chicken seemed a bit small but was still very good.
I hope that the beer remains cheap but I don't expect it to, but I told my wife when it was under construction that this place would pop off because deep down every man just needs a beer and a sandwich. And as I look around the nice open patio, all I see are happy men holding sandwiches. And kids too.
Cool vibe in here too. I would only suggest they make napkins more available. Because the secret sauce is worth...
Read moreI have zero idea what people are so into here. I got a Tomâs Choice, and my wife had a turkey club. Nothing (and I mean nothing) about my sandwich had any flavor whatsoever. Not the meat, bread, cheese, or veggies. Thankfully I got my sauces on the side, cuz the sweet n sour sauce is a joke. Just some sugar-loaded concoction thatâs meant to hide the complete lack of taste the sandwiches otherwise possessed. I had to add mustard, salt, and pepper to taste anything worth the money I paid.
On the bright side, they have PranQster on draft, which is one of my favorite beers, but that is not nearly enough to get me to go back.
If you want an actual sandwich; Italia Deli, Cuckoo Rooster, Brentâs, and Two Doughs are all only a mile or two away. Maybe thereâs a Jersey Mikeâs even closer if youâre on a time crunch. This area is blessed with so much good food, thereâs unfortunately no way this place is gonna last.
Too focused on image/trendiness and not nearly enough on the food. The 3-star rating is...
Read moreCame here on a whim today looking for a quick snack with our large dog and tween boy. Not only was everything reasonably priced⊠But the food was very tasty and the beers were even better. Highly recommend for a chill late afternoon snack. In some similar establishments, you have people coming out to you and making you feel like you need to either order more or move on, but here they had amazing 90s punk/rock music playing and no feeling of not being able to chill and have a beer or 2. Staff was super friendly and welcoming as well as fast service. Will definitely be back!
Edited for a new visit⊠this time was even better! Great service and great food. Had the chicken club and the Caesar salad. Both were great and the beer was amazing again ($3 16 oz. Pints the whole month for their anniversary). Where else can you go out with your family and have some beers for under $75?...
