After coming across their photos had the urge to try thier offerings; finally was nearby and decided to stop by this weekend.
The place is clean and nicely decorated.
The prices are a little higher than usual but location, cleanliness and freshness are very good.
I was uncertain what to order. I opted for the chamango which from pics was very tempting and they mentioned it was one of their more popular items.
From the pictures it appeared it was more a smoothie with chunks of fresh mango.
However upon receiving it it had small chunk of diced mango but was mainly mango ice cream. While the ice cream was delicious just don't think the price justifies the product. I ordered a medium sized received $11 and change from a $20; so $9 and change.
Another thing that could be improved is the thickness of the chamoy, most of it ended at the bottom of the cup, so one of the ingredients that's supposed to be part of the product you don't really get to experience with the ice cream because it's too runny. It would be best to either thicken the consistency or mix it into the ice cream.
The chamoy was delicious; except those details that didn't get much of the flavor while having the ice cream.
So this is the only item I got to try but was observing and noticed many details.
It's great they sell food and prices for food seem very reasonable , however it can get a bit confusing specially for people that don't usually experience this type of place, the functionality or layout and system is bit impractical and confusing as far as ordering food.
The snacks and desserts are along the entrance side wall.
They only have a menu for food near pick up window which is towards back.
But the cashier is in the center.
So if you're ordering food it may be a bit confusing and not practical to walk to view the menu ,walk back to pay and then walk back to pick up food.
Simple printed menus near tables or qr code could somewhat remedy this; along with a sign that's says order/pay here and a pick food only near the pick up window.
Being the weekend and there being a venue nearby can be a plus as far as foot traffic but makes it difficult to find parking , there's plenty of parking but there's many other businesses and a church and event venue which probably causes parking congestion on weekends mostly.
The teens working while not horrible and tried could be more welcoming upon entering designating someone to greet incoming customers. They may still be learning or perhaps there's too much familiarity amongst them to allow them to 100% focus on their tasks.
One last thing their tamarindcNdy straw was a bit harder than others I've tried at least initially to get it to separate. I would not say the product is dried I think it's more the type of product. It tasted good once was able to get it started to unroll...

Read moreThere are so many options! I cannot wait to go back and pick something else off the menu because the staff were kind, attentive and soooo fast! And not only do they have a variety of ice cream flavors and dessert options to choose from, they also have food food! And you can bet I'll be back to try the chili cheese fries (they're my weakness!)
The music, the vibe, the decor, everything makes me want to go back because it really made me happy. It made me feel like life was simple, if just for a moment...as dramatic as that sounds. Once you're inside (especially when the sun goes down to really enjoy the neon lights) I'm sure you'll understand what I mean.
We tried the coconut and bubblegum ice creams and they were delicious! We weren't even hungry and we downed...
