We went to eat there this evening and had an AMAZING experience! I mean, i am still so surprised that we got such a level of service from Chili's! Its not 5 star but tonight you would have thought so! To start, our waiter Matthew,(i hope that is your name, i am drawing a blank and feel terrible...but i think its matthew😊) was excellent..top notch! High class, remembered every single detail of our large orders without writing anything down. We waited maybe 2 minutes for our drinks, chips and salsa, then about 10 minutes later our appetizer and soups came out, and then 8 minutes later our food came out! It was crazy fast! And delicious! He was on top of everything! Our drinks never reached under half the entire dinner! He is seriously One of the best waiters we have ever had! Ever, even at resorts! He was also very personable! So i told him all of that, because we wanted him to know. Well, little did i know that our host Justin was listening and radiod his supervisor on his headset and told her our compliment. He then walked over to tell us thank you and that he told his suprervisor our comment to our waiter Matthew. I was taken completely off guard by this. It made me tear up. Justin was busy as so was the restaurant. But the mere fact that he took the time to relay such a compliment to his supervisor and that he took the time to walk over to us and thank US for complimenting his coworker! That says SOOO much about a person! Seriously Justin, that truly showed so much of your character and soul!He didnt have to stop what he was doing to take the time to make sure his cowoker got recognized. That is truly something! We were so impressed we spoke to the manager about our awesome waiter and Justin! Justin, i hope you read this. You are truly a gem! I have worked customer service my whole life and now retail for the Arvada Arc and you sir did something alot of people wouldn't. Never change that about you! And Matthew, seriously crazy amazing service! Thank you for such a GREAT night and after a long day at work, it was SOOO nice to relax, enjoy dinner and not have a single negative thing happen! Cant wait...
Read moreBeen to this particular location twice , service is always fast, however it seems that ppl like to “stare” at you at this particular location, nevertheless, my most recent visit is what made me do this review , the waitress we had was very nice and polite in tone etc however I noticed the young lady being very particular with the table of women in the table she served next to my table and when I witnessed the waitress giving to-go baggies to that table, she also took the liberty of bringing “fresh salsa” and a chip baggie for the Caucasian women in the table next to us however when I inquired to go accommodations for my chips and salsa, I was just given a standard cardboard box to place my already pre-used salas and chips in a styrofoam container.
It is extremely unfortunate how many people in our society use their positions even in a low grade position as chillies to practice racial discrimination, I’ve seen this in many places within Denver and most be in “low grade” settings, although the waitress tone was polite, I noticed a few things that was not so good, our table was filthy and when they cleaned it , it was cleaned with a spray bottle and napkin not a wet cloth, my relative had a object in the drink and it took a very long time to get it replaced and lastly the to go Salas and chips method , no biggie however- my people of African American decent be advised —
By the actions of this young lady her tip was surely decreased. I believe in tipping people in hospitality and restaurant roles but by her actions, perhaps she can learn to treat all her tables accordingly .
Lastly it was my birthday 🥳 so I received my birthday desert which was the cheesecake and the cheesecake came out with the strawberry sauce just poured on top , it was to be condensed but it was watery and had a mildew smell,...
Read moreI've been coming here for five years and have seen pretty much the same people all this time. They are consummate professionals that have never let me down. People are people and they make little mistakes but it's no reason to berate them or knock them down a star. They rock!
2024 update, since I'm moving soon and losing this place: I don't know what was up at five years but things are still as positive at ten years. Kenny is my favorite bartender of all time and Paige is certainly the most professional server I've seen since my Mom back in the day. There was about an entire season once when I ate dinner here six days a week, so as not to wake my roommate up with kitchen noises at home. I got to know these people really well and can't even say I've met many new ones because the turn around is very low. I see the same faces year after year and it really feels like family after a while. Pro restaurant goer advice number one, alcoholic drinks in your order will double your bill. You'd be amazed at how well and cheaply you can eat, out being served, when you don't drink alcohol. My steaks are almost always perfect here, depending on who's working because I've met them too. The burgers are large like I'm used to in the South and the pasta or fish is as good as can be, not really something you'd expect in a place that appears to be beer and chips and steaks. They are more than just steaks with chips and salsa, much more, just go visit every now and then and you'll see. Get a Presidente too! ;-) The management does a great job overseeing things and their long term employees seem to really care about what service they offer you. Go to this Chili's and make them your family.
