Einstein Bros. Bagels — Restaurant in Westminster

Hey, what's up guys? Dr. J l here, and today I discovered a great breakfast sandwich during my recent trip to Huntington Beach. We're talking about none other than Einstein Bros Bagels. Now, I know what you might be thinking. Bagels? Really, Sean? But hear me out.

My day started early, and I was on the way to the beach. Now you guys know I love my apps, and Einstein Bros Bagels has a great one. It was super user-friendly, and within minutes I had placed my order for pickup. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint.

I pull up to the store and immediately notice how clean and well-kept it is. The seating area was blocked off; no tables to eat at; I guess they are in take out mode. I walk in, and there it is, my order ready and waiting for me. We love efficiency, right?

Now let's get to the main event. The food. I had the Texas Brisket Bagel Sandwich, and it was amazing. We're talking a cheddar jalapeno bagel with two eggs, cheese, and topped off with brisket. It was hot, delicious, and had a kick that was just right. It was quite the meal, perhaps a bit heavy for a regular breakfast but absolutely perfect for a late brunch. I was fueled up and ready to take on the beach!

What stood out to me were the freshness and quality of the ingredients, the stellar customer service, and, of course, the smooth user experience of the app. From ordering on my phone to picking it up, the process was seamless. This, combined with the high-quality food, definitely puts Einstein Bros Bagels on my revisit list next time I find myself in Huntington Beach.

The only reason I'm giving this place 1 star is because it's required. I have been coming her for the last year, But recently l have noticed that the employees seem angry and rude!. The other morning I went in and a young man was trying to take my order and I couldn't hear him and he couldn't hear me due to a chubby female employee that look like she hasn't taken a shower in weeks and partied all night was screaming ballistically customers names so they would get their order. I told the manager that I couldn't hear due to her Screaming louder than anyone I have ever heard in my life. He just looked at me, and a young skinny little asian employee came up and decided to interfere and tell me that the other female has to scream like that due to Einsteins being small. I told her that made no since at what so ever. She then went over to the other female employee and told her what I had said, and the female employee who had been screaming told the other girl, Oh she think's I'm screaming! Watch when I call her name, I'm going to scream even louder now... The manager at Einsteins is a joke he does not have the proper skills nor the knowledge to run this facility. He has no control over his employees and they surely do not respect his authority. Very, tacky uneducated female...

Extremely disappointing. I have gone here three times in the past month only because I want bagel sandwiches and no other places in town compare. Or so I thought. I used to work here four years ago and the quality has decreased tenfold. I used to visit more frequently in the past years, but dropped off and just started to return. I regret it every time. The bagels themselves are still good, but the quality of customer service and quality of the hot sandwiches is awful. My first visit of the three only two employees were working and no orders were taken for fifteen minutes and six people in line left from the wait. The next time I went there were three times as many employees and the quality was a little better. This most recent time was awful. So many employees, yet none of them looked like they wanted to be there and the wait was still ridiculous. The two sandwiches I ordered were burnt, with stale and minimal toppings. Old meat, barely any sauce. Don’t think I will be coming back unless it’s to just get some bagels and nothing more. It’s clear that no one takes any sort of pride in their jobs or the quality of the food they serve.
