We stopped by for the 1st time to try the food here. I’m Mexican so I was really looking forward to it. For the last 10 years I have stuck to Taqueria Mexico across the street but this time we came here. Ordered the Al Pastor burrito. Worst burrito ever. The meat had this fake red coloring which didn’t come from the chili that normally gives it is color and flavor. It was like food coloring. The worst!! It also had no rice and no beans so it was basically meat onions and barely any cilantro. The menu said it came with guacamole which I got on the side cuz who puts guacamole in an Al Pastor burrito? Literally no one!! Even that was horrible cuz it wasn’t guacamole it was this absolutely disgusting tasteless green cream that had zero avocado and no flavor whatsoever. My friend got the Al Día burrito which came with sausage, bacon, hash browns, eggs n cheese and for some reason they decided to add sour cream in it which was nowhere on the menu and which my friend can’t eat cuz she’s lactose. That went into the trash on the second bite. Don’t let me mention the prices! Lol $13 for one burrito. Paid $30 with tip for 2 burritos. The salsa we got was red and green and neither had spice and both needed flavor. This is a disgrace to any person calling themselves Latino let alone Mexican. Don’t go here… go to...
Read morecame in on 12/6/23. ordered two tacos and added the "make it a combo" rice, beans, and fountain drink for $5.99 extra. after waiting 15 minutes to have my order taken, then a few more minutes for my food to be made. my order was "ready". The problem with this is that they did not give me my drink. When I asked, they said it doesn't come with a drink. when I pointed out that the menu on the wall shows "rice, beans, and a fountain drink" for $5.99 extra the girl up front had to ask the guy in the back. Apparently he told her it doesn't come with a drink, and she told him that it's on the menu on the wall, I was then told that that's only on Thursdays. That's not stated on the menu on the wall. So I was very upset I paid 5.99$ for the smallest spoonful of rice and beans. in the end, I regret leaving a tip when I paid to only get ripped off when my order was given to me. I wish I had tried the taco shop a couple of doors down instead of this restaurant. I will never be back and urge you to use caution when dealing with this establishment. Shady tactics...
Read moreMan, next to Gallo Giro, the place makes one of the fattest Cuban Tortas I've ever had. The place is clean, there's seating outside and inside. Can't speak of the bathroom because I didn't use it. The front counter was being ran by two young ladies, that were very smiley, polite, and professional. They have all kinds of foods, drinks, flavored waters, juices, and the food was relatively fast, very very tasteful. My way of seeing things is, if the food is tasteful, well flavored, I don't mind paying a higher price than usual, but this one was $16 and it comes w/soda, salsas and chips. I just found this place so I can't speak on the rest of the dishes, but that Cuban Torta make you wanna slap yo mama!! They also have cocktails. Ceviche, burritos(big mutha f*@$). Their red sauce is incredible. The place is super clean. Alot of parking, tables outside. Great eating place. Next to El Gallo Giro this place makes the best Torta Cubana, I've tried. 2 types of meat, 2 typed of ham, cheese, lettuce, onion, tomato, jalapeño, It's...
