Best Western Westminster Inn — Hotel in Westminster

Has to be one of the best Best Westerns Best Western has. Every room is clean and if you can up grade to the suite. I suggest you do so. The couple I have had the pleasure of staying in were like staying in a mini apartment. The grounds has not only a pool and a sauna, but has a propane grill and a little putt putt golf course, along with a table tennis game. You will never run out of ice at this hotel. They have an industrial ice machine along with all of that. You actually have a bonus because all the staff members are all top notch professionals there's not a time I can remember when I have either asked for extra towels or to have something added that I have been turned down. Housekeeping are very courteous and very respectful of everyone's stay. They are very fast but also very quiet when cleaning the rooms around you. I actually have to say that "Each and every time I have been there, it has been great and not once have I ever had a problem with anything. The front desk workers are top in their class. Not only are you in your room within matter of minutes but are very informative about your surroundings and are there if you needed anything else from information to fixing the breakfast for each of us every morning. The management has to be one of the friendliest one's in the hotel business. It's a place where you can actually see and talk with them. They don't hide behind closed doors or behind a wall. They are out of the office and actually helping people either with staff or customers with whatever you need help with. Other words their not afraid to get their hands dirty. You'll see what I am talking about once you choose to take a chance and stay there. I know I took a chance and I have not regretted it since. Not only did I take that chance. I have been back there numerous times and I will continue to go there every chance I get when I am in that part of town. First of all, I would like to say that this place is in a good location. Close to freeway, shopping centers, major attractions, and beaches! The beaches are our thing. So this place hit the price and location. We got two rooms for our family. I requested them to be next to each other, which we got! Staff was super friendly and always at service. The pool and hot tub were great! The mini golf was fun too! They have lounge chair right outside your glass door for those who are downstairs with a small coffee table so you can relax while enjoying the beautiful California sunset! Breakfast is very simple but good. Buffet style! Second, and here is what I did not like. The rooms were dirty. On the first night after a refreshing shower, we turned on the air extractor, and the whole lid came off the ceiling. It's a good thing we weren't standing under it. As we looked at it, it was full of a thick layer of dust, and as we are looking at each other with confusion as to why is so dirty we noticed the a/c air vent and it's very dirty as well. So my husband took it down, and the filter was very dirty. The same thickness of dust was covering the air duck, and the filter it was disgusting. I called the office, and they sent maintenance right away! I told the person to please change the filter as well because I have lots of allergies and two people got to cleaning the air ducks and replace the filter as well fix the lid on the air extractor thing. One of the guys said it was the best they could do. And I appreciate it. But I just started noticing all of the baseboards are dury full of dust as well as the top of shower walls. Then, as we started to get ready to sleep, my husband pulled the curtain, and there was something there that looked like mold. I just didn't want to look anywhere. I think looking good on the outside isn't enough. Best Western, you need to look great on the inside as well. Management needs to go in the rooms and make sure everything is clean. My dog was skunked on property in the late evening of my stay the management a male came into my room would not leave standing inside of my room excused me of not having my dog on a leash I was so upset he threatened to call animal potrol I had taken her collar off to shower her all night no sleep washed everything and in early morning showed the office girl the room had given her all the towls sheets that I had washed all night until 4 in the morning wouldnt even known I had cleanded everything but my poor dog was sick upset the maid came we opened door when I had got back and my dog ran out into road almost got hit the manager young guy stood in my room excused me of letting my dog run off leash Never would I have her off her leash was so upset she had almost died he had no regard for my privacy or mental state at that time fighting with me she is my everything being skunked on there property stayed there before great experience at 🎄 time in office and staff tipped them all for good work the place was next to my doctors from big bear she is a service dog 🐕‍🦺 I left took her to animal hospital from her being sick but yes she is still innocent in this and so was I didn't appreciate the attack in my room from this manager that's why I was so upset and just left had a free night but checked out missed appointments..
