Finally an authentic Nepali cafe serving the amazing tapas style SamaiBaji! We were excited to find this place after not finding a single restaurant in Boulder county that serves this popular & authentic Newari dish. It was delicious! The chicken choila (in the SamaiBaji) was outstanding. Most Nepali restaurants in Boulder are quasi Indian and don’t serve much Nepali/Newari food at all (except momos). This one was a find and we hope it stays afloat and continues serving good food. We had the SamaiBaji, 0-Marie/baara, & jhol momos. All delicious. Would love for them to serve an authentic Nepali chutney/sauce (needn’t be spicy but the flavor could be better) - this would totally top the experience and would make us drive all the way from Boulder to dine again and again. Service is excellent. It’s like dining at a family member’s place. Will definitely be back.

Felt a little under the weather and saw this place, thought I'd try it out. The chicken momo jhol (dumpling soup) sounded like just the thing. And well... holy crap it was delicious. The thick broth, almost like a curry consistency, has distinct and hearty flavor from what you'd get from ramen or pho. The dumplings were quite hearty and filling. Dumplings and broth; simple but quite effective. I also got spicy fries, which had a pleasantly spicy seasoning. Only complaint is the place should be bigger and maybe a bit faster on service (and yeah I get the business focuses on takeout orders), but the momo definitely makes up for all of it. The takeaway is where you've got your usual Indian, Vietnamese, and Japanese cuisines, Nepalese momo is distinct from all of them and delicious. 😊

BLUF-people need more good food like this in their lives. This place is fantastic. The momo and jhool is full of flavor and is just the right amount of spicy. We have ordered both takeout and delivery and the food is always amazing. Excited to see their coming soon items! Stopped in tonight, place was full which was fantastic to see! Mar 4 - I had to edit this to say that tonight I had the chicken curry. Wow, the flavors in this dish are not flashy and over power the dish. I will be ordering the chicken curry again! Portion size was just right with a container of rice and a juicy container of curry. The meat was juicy and tender. Updated 27 Sept - if you haven't been by here in a while, stop in. The menu is updated, the food is just as fantastic.

The establishment in question possesses an unremarkable ambiance, failing to elicit any noteworthy impression. Furthermore, the serving sizes offered are disproportionately minuscule in relation to their exorbitant prices. Despite adopting a self-service model, wherein patrons are required to settle the bill beforehand, the audacity of the establishment to demand gratuity without providing an alternative option to decline is quite disconcerting. Personally, I find it inappropriate to offer gratuities prior to receiving any form of service, particularly when it pertains to takeout orders. It is necessary to manually input a value of 0.00 in the "Custom Tip" field in order to opt out of providing a tip, which can be perceived as an act of coercion. These practices amount to a form of undue pressure to tip, and it is imperative that appropriate measures be taken to address this unjust and manipulative conduct.

Additionally, the establishment emits an unpleasant odor. During my initial dining experience, I was hopeful that the unpleasant scent was an isolated incident. Regrettably, when I visited the establishment again for takeout, the nauseating smell persisted, leaving me with a sense of...

If you feel like big name restaurants often cheat you into giving you the false authentic taste of the cuisine they claim to be then take it from me.. I feel you! Being from Nepal, I was really hoping for a place to bring the taste of home to Colorado, and I feel like this place does a great job. Growing up, momo was a big part of my life and the taste of momo here makes me think of back home. My family and I have been coming here for few years now and we have always been enthusiastic about trying new flavors of momo. Given, we only eat chicken, this place has never disappointed us and today was something compelled me to give them a two thumbs up! The latest addition of chilli and curry momo was something to die for. I would recommend trying any version of their momo whether it's steamed, panned fried, chilli or curry, the end result will always be the same.. bang for your buck!! The owner there is a young guy who is genuinely invested in bringing the authentic taste and providing the best service he can provide. In short, very hospitable chap with a great attitude...
