The establishment in question possesses an unremarkable ambiance, failing to elicit any noteworthy impression. Furthermore, the serving sizes offered are disproportionately minuscule in relation to their exorbitant prices. Despite adopting a self-service model, wherein patrons are required to settle the bill beforehand, the audacity of the establishment to demand gratuity without providing an alternative option to decline is quite disconcerting. Personally, I find it inappropriate to offer gratuities prior to receiving any form of service, particularly when it pertains to takeout orders. It is necessary to manually input a value of 0.00 in the "Custom Tip" field in order to opt out of providing a tip, which can be perceived as an act of coercion. These practices amount to a form of undue pressure to tip, and it is imperative that appropriate measures be taken to address this unjust and manipulative conduct.
Additionally, the establishment emits an unpleasant odor. During my initial dining experience, I was hopeful that the unpleasant scent was an isolated incident. Regrettably, when I visited the establishment again for takeout, the nauseating smell persisted, leaving me with a sense of...
Read moreIf you feel like big name restaurants often cheat you into giving you the false authentic taste of the cuisine they claim to be then take it from me.. I feel you! Being from Nepal, I was really hoping for a place to bring the taste of home to Colorado, and I feel like this place does a great job. Growing up, momo was a big part of my life and the taste of momo here makes me think of back home. My family and I have been coming here for few years now and we have always been enthusiastic about trying new flavors of momo. Given, we only eat chicken, this place has never disappointed us and today was something compelled me to give them a two thumbs up! The latest addition of chilli and curry momo was something to die for. I would recommend trying any version of their momo whether it's steamed, panned fried, chilli or curry, the end result will always be the same.. bang for your buck!! The owner there is a young guy who is genuinely invested in bringing the authentic taste and providing the best service he can provide. In short, very hospitable chap with a great attitude...
Read moreFinally an authentic Nepali cafe serving the amazing tapas style SamaiBaji! We were excited to find this place after not finding a single restaurant in Boulder county that serves this popular & authentic Newari dish. It was delicious! The chicken choila (in the SamaiBaji) was outstanding.
Most Nepali restaurants in Boulder are quasi Indian and don’t serve much Nepali/Newari food at all (except momos). This one was a find and we hope it stays afloat and continues serving good food. We had the SamaiBaji, 0-Marie/baara, & jhol momos. All delicious. Would love for them to serve an authentic Nepali chutney/sauce (needn’t be spicy but the flavor could be better) - this would totally top the experience and would make us drive all the way from Boulder to dine again and again.
Service is excellent. It’s like dining at a family member’s place. Will...
