Needed a chill environment to work in & it definitely is. I set up in one of the booths with my laptop, snacks, water bottle, then grabbed some kratom. The kratom is alright, kinda weak if you ask me. Was there for a few hours finishing up my session notes, then moved to the bar. After sitting and talking (purchasing a few more kratoms) Greg told me I was not allowed to have my water bottle in their establishment per their policy. I explained to him I have a medical condition called POTS, which causes me to be dehydrated. He told me he couldn't ask about it and to remove my water bottle from the bar. The thing about POTS is that some people have to intake higher amounts of sodium to stay hydrated. My water had electrolyte drops with extra sodium so I could maintain proper hydration. After the interaction with Greg, I felt uncomfortable and mistreated. I asked for my bill, paid, and then left. What your establishment did is illegal. Per the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), you have to make reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with a disability. I was never offered water from their bar. I was simply told I was not allowed to have mine. In the years, I've been going to kratom bars, not once have I experienced such mistreatment. I will not be returning. Please educate your staff and update your policy. One day, someone will not be as nice, and you may have a lawsuit...
Read moreWas great every time I have come here and brought many others along to enjoy a fresh new community and drinks. However, when a tender by the name of Nick started working at this establishment, it always seems as if me and the people I bring with me end up, either, not wanting to consume your products anymore, come less, or not come back at all because of a bad experience they or I have had with Nick. Other tenders that I’ve met here were amazing and friendly. But, Nick always seems to try to rush and force people to buy drinks or force any given person to pay on separate tabs even though one person may be trying to buy, wether it be, an expensive drink or anything else for a couple to share or buy others and themselves a drink on the same tab in order to be in the bar that they drove sometimes over an hour to get to to see the people they wanted to see or hang out with. He alone has lost what would’ve been many (8 so far) loyal consumers as they were always loyal consumers to every other kava bar in colorado as they, as the people that I know and love as friends or family, have been to most if not all other kava bars in colorado as they love the community and drinks. Odin is my favorite tender, wether or not he still works here, I don’t know, as I’ve not seen him in a long while, but he is amazing as a friend and is a great, informative...
