Phở Vie Restaurant — Restaurant in Westminster

Having grown up in Westminster with many experiences shopping in Vietnamese markets all I can say to the negative service reviews is that this is your typical Vietnamese-run restaurant. The service, that is taking your order and bringing out your food, is very quick and the food is well-priced for the portion sizes. You don't frequent a Vietnamese store for the smiles, you go there to get what you need for a fair price and fast service. If you go here with that in mind you won't be disappointed. (You can also ask for a silver pitcher of water for your table if you tend to drink more than one glass full because they don't EVER come back again to your table once your food has been served.)

As to the sanitary conditions mentioned, I can't say one way or the other which is true but I've adopted a friend's practice of always wiping chopsticks, condiment saucer, and utensils before using them and using a straw for my drink.

I like to bring my children here because they like the pho and I don't feel like we are going to be interrupting anyone's romantic date, because this is NOT the place to bring a significant other for an anniversary.

Side note: The fact that they started charging tax but only accept cash kind of bothers me...but that's another type...

I’ve been coming here for years. They are always so nice. Today when we came my cousin found a hair in her food and her daughter found one in her food. When we told the lady she was blaming the cook who had NOOOO hair he’s bald. She came to us pointed at him saying he’s not wearing a hair net. When no one in the kitchen was wearing a hair net. I showed the pic to the cook to show it wasn’t his she got mad and then said it was our hair. It was entwined into the noodles not just fallen in there from us. She sat there giving dirty looks and yelling at us saying it was our fault. One of the cooks was apologizing super nice guy. Both cooks were nice one was just working the one who was being accused by the lady. They need a food inspector to come in there and look at the kitchen. Obviously something needs to be done here. Sad since I have been coming here for years and loved it here. But the service today is enough to never return and seeing how she treated the cook made me mad.I really hope she’s nice to the cook who talked to us and not treat him bad for...

I was not very happy with this place. The food was fairly good but the customer service is terrible. I know the restaurant closes at 12am. I was waiting for my brother to finish and then we would pay our bill. One of the workers asked me to move my things and sit on another table just so they could clean and close the store. I understand it's closing time but it is absolutely rude to move your customers while you are not finished. Regardless you don't move customers you kindly tell them that the store is closing and if u need something else to go then they would be able to serve them one last time. That's the way to do customer service and to make it worse one of the worker has a nerve to ask for a tip. A tip??? I have not been served. My water was not filled and I have not been served and attended and I was rudely kicked out because they don't have time to wait and they need a tip??? I will not recommend this place.
