I have never been so disgusted by a sandwich shop as I am of this location. Snarfs can be a solid sandwich, but I'm never going near this location again.
Tldr; very slow service, wrong sized sandwich, terrible food safety practices (exposed bellies, masks under chin, coughing not into elbow, flies, etc), concerning bread and meats.
We ordered two sandwiches, both 12", both standard subs with no modifications, paid ~$27. They were training a couple of new members I believe, so we tried to give them some extra time. 20 minutes after we ordered (no other orders came in, just our two sandwiches) we still had not received the sandwiches. One employee had a crop top on with their bellow hanging out. All masks we saw were under people's chins, and we even watched an employee coughing without a mask and not into their elbow. We saw numerous flies while we waited for our food. When we finally got the sandwiches and got home, we found that one of the sandwiches was a small. In addition the other sandwich was disgusting, to the point I couldn't eat it, and I have a pretty iron stomach. The bread crust was crumbling off in inch long chunks and very tough, as if it was several days/weeks old. When I took it apart to figure out why, the cheese had what looked like a plastic or paper wrap on it. One of the meats on my Italian sub, looked like baloney and had large white sections several inches across that took up most of the meat. I get that fat happens, but I'd rather not get a full sandwich of just that.
Honestly being over charged, very slow service, getting low quality food, and the food safety issues make me wish I could make this 1* review more impactful. I cannot describe how disappointed I am in...
Read more⭐ 4/5 – Great Sandwiches, Worth the Price Tag Despite the Higher Cost
Snarf’s Sandwiches is one of those places that consistently delivers solid, filling sandwiches. The portions are generous, and they don’t skimp on quality. I’ve been coming here for years, and even though the prices have gone up a bit, I still think it’s worth it.
🍞 The Food: 4/5 The sandwiches here are hearty, delicious, and always satisfying. Whether you go for the classic choices or something a little more unique, you’re getting a great value in terms of portion size and taste. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, and each sandwich is packed with a good balance of flavors. 🛎️ The Service: 3/5 The service is typically efficient, though it can feel a bit impersonal, especially during peak times. It’s a quick-serve kind of place, so don’t expect anything too fancy, but they’re always friendly and helpful. 💰 Cost: 3/5 The prices have risen, but for the size and quality of the sandwiches, I’d say it’s still worth it. It’s a bit on the higher side for a casual sandwich shop, but the food is filling enough to make up for it. 💡 The Verdict: Solid Sandwiches with a Good Price-to-Value Ratio ✅ Hearty, filling sandwiches ✅ Great flavor and high-quality ingredients ❌ Higher prices than before, but still worth it ❌ Casual setting, not a fancy atmosphere
Would I recommend Snarf’s? Absolutely, especially if you’re in the mood for a big, satisfying sandwich. Just know that it’s not the cheapest option, but the...
Read moreThe customer service here is horrid. I was told by fellow employees that this place was top notch and that I should, as a manager, order Snarf's for the employees as a reward. When I called to place an order for multiple subs, (in excess of $200) the guy on the phone told me that they don't take multiple orders and don't accept multiple payment types. Only after calling back and arguing with him for 10 minutes did he finally agree to take my order and process the payments, which he said he couldn't do in the first place! I have never had a business flat out refuse to take quantity orders from me or my 20+ guys before and don't understand how this business operates with such terrible customer service. The entire ordeal was a hassle and I felt like I was dragging a child, kicking and screaming to the dentist, when I was in the shop picking up my order and dealing with this guy. When I looked at the other employees, they were quickly attending to the order and help me without trying to step on this guy's toes, which made me consider that he was just a bad apple at the store. When I finally got back to the shop to eat, I found that Snarf's wasn't worth the hassle I had to deal with at all.
Next time, I'll just go to Jersey Mike's which is 2 minutes away and have them happily accept my order again and again.
If management wants to contact me, I don't remember his name but can describe what he looks like in the hopes that maybe his terrible attitude can receive some...
