I am appalled at the lack of service and flagrant abuse I received at this location.
Myself and a friend set out to pick up an order that another friend had placed online. We arrive and provide the name on the order to the manager who appeared already frustrated as he was the only one working that evening. When given the name, the manager claimed that he required more information and asked the details of the order (the size and toppings). Not having the details, we called our friend while the visibly irritated manager receded back to the kitchen.
We provide the requested information to the now observably angry manager. He then asks, "What's the name on the order?" Confused and discomforted by his escalating behavior, I repeat the full name that I gave him upon arriving. The manager then, after at least 5 minutes into this pickup, finally checks his electronic device for the order details. As I turned to my friend expressing our shared confusion, he returns with our order.
Now enraged, the manager slams the pizza on the counter with enough force to have flung sauce on my face and begins his vocal outbursts. He yells, "You're a b*h!" while pointing his finger in my face. I reiterate that he was given the information he needed to collect our order when we first arrived. Not in a state of mind to hear the explanation he continues to yell and exclaims, "Get out!" as he violently gestures toward the door. Now concerned for our safety as two women, my friend and I take our leave as his behavior continued to escalate.
I am truly shocked that we recieved this abuse, and from a manager at that. This level of intimidation is not acceptable in any environment. I will definitely be taking this case to corporate, as this behavior should not be tolerated. It is clear from these reviews that the manager only cares to respond to positive feedback and cannot recieve or acknowledge complaints. It is obvious in this case that someone like him, with no impulse control, should not be employed in the service industry. I hope he seeks clinical help to better self regulate his emotions so as not to inflict this abuse on anyone else...
Read moreI am from out of state, and this was close to my hotel, and thought, you can't go wrong with a pizza. It is Chicago ,and I couldn't wait to try some pizza in the Windy City. The photos on their menu looked delicious. A friend and I stopped in and while we were looking at the menu, the fellow behind the counter said that he has doubled up on an order, and wanted to know if we would be interested in 2 large pizzas for $5.00 each. We we're all for that, seeing as how the large pizzas we're well over $20.00. we got a large cheese,and a large pepperoni and sausage. We split the pizzas between the two of us and went back to the hotel. The pizza looked absolutely delicious, better than the pictures. I took one bite and was so disappointed. It tasted like a frozen Tony's or Red Baron pizza . Looks truly can be deceiving. I saw my friend the next day and he said the exact same thing. He also said that he woke up sick during the night. Read morePlaced a delivery order and when it arrived it was wrong. I ordered a beef with a side salad w/ ranch because the fries are always under cooked. I ordered an anti pasta salad. This is what I got a beef with ranch no salad an anti pasta salad with no cheese. When I called it said no side salad was marked in the order. When I asked about the mozzarella cheese for the antipasto salad she said it doesn’t come with it I said on line it states it does she said Westmont doesn’t offer mozzarella. What bullshit is that. I told her than to take it off the menu. I mean really and she has the nerve to be rude to me when the menu is offering items a certain way but not Westmonts way I will never order from them again and will be sharing my experience...
