We went to Lucille's American Cafe and enjoyed a diner like atmosphere. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. The service was excellent. The food was also. My husband had black and blue shrimp. It was grilled blackened shrimp with a Bleu Cheese dipping sauce over rice with a side of vegetables. It was delicious. There were 12 very large shrimp on the plate. I had grilled chicken topped with caramelized onions and melted Brie and aioli with a side of sweet potatoe fries. It was really tasty and the fries were hot and crispy. We had a fantastic bread pudding for dessert. It was served warm topped with a bourbon sauce and and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a relaxed meal with friendly service...

Lucille's American Cafe for lunch was great. Outdoor seating if you choose, by the water. We had the grilled chicken sandwich on a bun, topped with lettuce, bacon, swiss, avocados, tomatoes and a side order of regular fries..... grilled turkey burger on a bun, topped with lettuce, tomatoes, swiss, and a side order of sweet potato fries....chicken fingers, with a dipping sauce and large order of regular fries. Drinks were lemonade and iced tea. Dessert was the brownie, topped with chocolate syrup, ice cream, whipped cream, and cherries. Service was great. Everyone was courteous and friendly. Nice ambience. We did not have to wait to get seated....

Service was just bad. Really, really bad. Not that crowded but when two to three servers stay at one table just chatting or sit down at another table several times it makes it tough on those who are at least trying. I don't believe our server remembered or cared that we were there until close to tip time. Food was sub par at best. The strangest clam chowder I've ever had. Food came out in spurts so everyone was eating at different times. This place needs a corporate do over from start to finish. Sad because I like Hooters. I'll just go to another location...
