So, I consistently get wrong orders every time I decide to be brave and go here. I don't complain about the time, or if something is unavailable, because that's out of anyone's control sometimes. But order accuracy is consistently abysmal and food quality reaches the same level. My recent escapade involved a Big Mac with light sauce and no cheese, a deluxe bacon ranch mccrispy, and an Oreo Frappe. They didn't have oreo frappe so I settled for a caramel, and that's fine. I won't count that. Not even mad about the wait time, because it gets busy. I get it. But I had 2 other items. And what I got, was a big Mac with 3 slices of cheese and so much sauce I had to wring it out. My Deluxe McCrispy? No lettuce or tomato (which is what was supposed to make it a deluxe) and it was burnt. Like, I couldn't even eat it it was so burnt. I've never seen fast food so black around the edges, I thought I was gonna break a tooth. Bacon? Nonexistant. That's the key factor of this item. Even in it's basic self, it has chicken bacon and ranch. But no, I had a piece of chicken wearing a charcoal necklace, and drowning in ranch, with no bacon. And I ordered at kiosk too, as recommended, but it never printed a receipt and I can't go back tonight to get it fixed because I stopped by before work. So the only evidence I have is a brief flash of what I believe to be was 647 on a screen. I'd honestly be less aggravated if I didn't have multiple experiences like this every time...
Read moreI was going to give this a 4 because they messed my order up the last 2 times but it was not bad. One time I got a basket of fries instead of a large and the other time I got a Double Quarter Pounder when I only ordered a single. Sooo I dunno if they messed up or were paying it forward without telling us. However, The real reason I got on to do this review is... I wanted to give a huge compliment to the girl working the Drive Thru register last night. My fiance and I went last night shortly before close and for the first time in the longest time I saw something that has become all to rare just about anywhere. The girl working the first window (register) late last night was smiling and was absolutely pleasant. She just seemed so happy with her job. It scares me, as one who has been a GM at a few restaurants, to find it so rare to see what used to be considered the "Norm" in Customer Service Hospitality not but 3 years ago stand out so much today. So it was such a delight to experience good Customer Service once again. I hope the Manager at that location or the Regional Manager even gives that girl some real...
Read moreI've been going to this McDonald's for years, but today was a truly soul-crushing experience. I ordered the highly-anticipated fry basket, ready for a mountain of salty, golden goodness. But what I received was less of a basket and more of a tragic little pile of potatoes huddled at the bottom, looking scared and alone. It was maybe, MAYBE, half full.
Trying to stay positive, I thought, "Surely this is a fluke!" So, in a desperate attempt to fill the gaping void in my stomach (and my heart), I ordered a regular side of fries. I'm not exaggerating when I say the second order was even MORE pathetic. It was a handful of fries tossed into a bag the size of a shoebox. At that point, I just had to laugh. The universe, or at least the fry machine at this particular McDonald's, was actively mocking me.
I just wanted a simple, satisfying fry experience. Is that too much to ask? I'm now sitting here, feeling betrayed and wondering if I'll ever truly trust a fry basket again. My dreams of a crispy, salty feast are...
