Hardee’s — Restaurant in Wetumpka

We go there a couple of times per week and everything is usually pretty good. At least once per week we have biscuits for breakfast. Typically they are hot, fresh, and delicious. However today, Thursday September 10 about 0930 we stopped by biscuits on our way out of town. The experience was not good. My wife got sausage and mine was sausage and egg. Both biscuits were stale - like they had been frozen or refrigerated over night after being baked the day before. Also the sausage tasted funny. Both of us were slightly ill from the biscuits until after lunch later in the day. I can't imagine what happened but I don't want that...

Went for breakfast through the drive through. The whole meal was cold. Cold biscuit and hash browns and coffee. Coffee had something floating in it! I threw it out. The drive through menu said the comb was $4.89 I was charged $5.92 . I asked her why the difference and she said because I up graded to a medium, which I did not know I did. They try to be slick so watch what you order. Overall experience was poor. They did get extra money from me this time so I hope they enjoy it because it will...

I'll give them credit...when that hurricane hit and the whole city was shutdown. Home were without means to cook food, this place was open from dawn till the wee hours of the morning. They kept us feed in a situation much of didn't prepare for BC, "it was just another hurricane"...I've only eaten here one other time in 20 years I've lived in wetumpka, but that day I was proud we had Hardee's...thanks for being prepared for something we didn't expect...
