Los Maya’s — Restaurant in Wetumpka

They let ppl who want to vape vape.... It burns my nose when somebody Vapes or smokes around me so I didn't want to smell it and I asked the lady I said the reason why I moved in here was because the lady was smoking and she was like yeah and I said y'all out smoking in here and she said yes and I said can I speak to the manager she said I am the manager so I appreciated tell her that I didn't want to pay for anything except for my drinks and the white queso and she told me that I'd have to pay for the whole meal I didn't eat it come to my table after I come in but I did not want to eat the food it says okay I'll pay for the food and I said I'll be right back I'm not leaving she said well you better come back in excuse me now that was rude and I told her it was rude and she said you'll have to pay for all that I said I'm just getting the credit card from my husband okay so because she was rude I told the whole place that they allowed smoking in here and that's why I was leaving so she wanted to be rude I could you know leave a bad review at that time and it cost me something like $30 for the fajitas the chicken fajitas queso a Coke zero or something else and then she made me pay for it I crumbled up I told her to hold on a minute I crumbled up my chips in the food that she made me pay for and she's she was snatching the food away from me then she put herself in that situation but I don't believe that she is a manager at all but you know I don't want to go in something somewhere where somebody's smoking I just don't if I wanted to go to a club I'd go to a club but I don't want to go in there and I don't think I do believe that it's against the law to smoke in any establishment that's a restaurant or any place that's inside they do it at the nail place up by Domino's they let them smoke in there I don't go in there anymore so if you don't want to smell...

Yummy Mexican food. My friends and I ate everything clean off the plate. I made my own lunch special: grilled mushrooms, grilled zucchini, chicken quesadilla, and guacamole salad. All under $8. My husband got the flauta dinner with two chicken flautas and steak flautas. I was not impressed with the steak one. But the chicken was great. The guacamole salad was so refreshing ^__^... my two other friends got ACP and they raved about the chicken. My other friend got steak and chicken. He didn’t care too much for the rice lol he said the tortillas looked and tasted home made. Always a good thing to look for in a Mexican restaurant. We love authentic cuisine!

Service was great! Our waitress was nice and quick. She filled our drinks timely and was efficient. Nice cozy atmosphere. I totally recommend it. You can’t go wrong it seems like to visit Mexican restaurants.

—the following day— My NC crew stopped by this restaurant again and it was delicious once again. I got a fajita chicken salad and choriqueso. Yummy! My friends got ACP with extra chicken and they loved it.

I also got a virgin Pina Colada for fun. SO...

My sister and I went here to celebrate her divorce! Food was excellent, I had the sopa de pollo (chicken and rice soup) as I'm still recouping from strep throat. She had the Hawaiian chicken and shrimp fajitas (celebrating a divorce sometimes requires cheating on keto,lol). We enjoyed the delicious eats with a lambrusco margarita! Delicious! We got a little loud and giggly! I think the older gentleman with the wax on wax off hairstyle was getting a little put out with us, but the younger cute little guy who was waiting on us laughed when we said "Yes, we want dessert! We are celebrating her divorce!" He brought out the cheesecake chimichangas with a whipped cream heart and cherry on top! The food was good and service very tolerant of the two 30 somethings who came in at 11 to start in on margaritas, but hey it's 5 o' clock somewhere and what better way to start a new much deserved...
