I might have been too hungry when I went here but it was not the restaurant I wanted or would go back to. The bar was full so me and my lady had to sit at a table which would seem fine but there is a clear sign, "No table service, order at bar". I kind of underestimated how inconvenient this would actually be. I had to get up, elbow my way into the bar to put in a drink and food order, then jock for somewhere to stand until the drinks came. When my appetizer came out the bartender literally gave it to a customer to hand over to us. I like to imagine her hands were clean. I had to jock my way back up to the bar to get another round, then again for a couple waters. A young lady did bring out the burgers we ordered to our table which was appreciated. After a long day, I just wanted some food, and it was all just too much work on my part. I found myself wondering the whole time how much I should actually tip someone when I had to get up and do half the work, or if I should give some of the tip to the customer that middlemanned my buffalo dip?
Plenty of tv's, menu was VERY basic, but what we got was good. Would probably be a good place to catch a game if you can get bar seating. Everything else there that wasn't at the bar seemed to be an inconvenience for the...
Read moreThe bar style pizza has a good appearance however that was all it had. I only visited 1 time on the recommendations of others and I only purchased 2 pizzas so take this with a grain of salt. Everything else may be great but in my opinion the pizza was very subpar. The impetus for me visiting this location was a that people on a Facebook group that I've recently joined recommend it. I've been trying southshore bar style pizza from across the Southeast of Massachusetts. So this is my 12 or maybe even more pizza in the past two weeks from different locations. The pizza had very little sauce, I mean if you lifted the cheese you couldn't detect any sauce at all exceptfor a reddish color . I ordered 1 pepperoni and 1 sausage and linguica combo. The pepperoni had good flavor the cheese was nice, however the two meat was downright awful (in my opinion) I have tried linguica from more that 12 different bar pizza locations in just the past couple of weeks and I have not gotten such flavorless linguica. The sausage was much the same.
So in my opinion the crust was good, the cheese was good and at least one of he toppings were good. So this place has potential but for me it was a bust.
So stay away from the linguica or sausage and ask for extra sauce and maybe it could be...
Read moreGood place for South Shore style bar pizza. Better than its contemporaries, though the quality can vary depending on the chef. If you like your pizza on the greasy side with a generous amount of toppings and crispy crust, this place is for you. The atmosphere, while I have never eaten in, is typical of a sports bar, with about a dozen TVs in the bar area. Ample seating is condensed into a small space. This is definitely the type of place that caters to locals and those in the know. Only complaint would be the lack of compliance with COVID regulations until recently, not to call them out. This has since changed, as they have added dividers and mandated masks since my last visit. All in all the food is great. Simple, no-nonsense, good portions. Easy to call in an order over the phone, online, or even through text. Would recommend to fans of bar pizza or those...
