Athens Pizza & Grill — Restaurant in Weymouth

We wanted to try out this place since we have never been there. I really wish we went someplace else. We ordered a regular cheese pizza, plain, nothing on it and it was just BLAHHH! The pizza was under cooked, doughy and way too much cheese. It tasted like a frozen pizza🤮🤮. Also ordered the chicken wings with honey BBQ sauce…🤮🤮🤮🤮 They drowned the wings in sauce, there was so much! They were also frozen, not fresh at all. The only thing I could think of was the frozen already prepared chicken wings that you buy at BJs. The Greek salad,🤮🤮 I don’t have any words. How do you mess up a salad! One peppercini, one olive, lettuce and limited feta .come on it’s a Greek salad. Please show some initiative and care while preparing your food! Sad to say, so disappointed...

I was excited to have them open again. Not sure if they are the original owners of Athens (which I loved) . I have ordered an large hamburger pizza , a garden salad with tuna w/ homemade balsamic dressing and a large toasted cheeseburger sub. All were very good. I can't eat pizza anymore but I always take a bite to try which ever pizza place my husband gets it from and this one by far is one of the best! Good dispersment of cheese to meat to sauce . It is not bar pizza and doesn't claim to be . The large is good size. The hamburger was very tasty and well seasoned. The white tuna is very good not too mayo and not too dry. Any pizza place that can't make a good steak and cheese grinder doesn't get my business. When i ordered a S&C from them the bread was burnt and the meat was dry and the cheese was scarce. When i told them i didn't like the grinder they were rude and told me i should have ordered extra cheese because the cheese gets absorbed into the meat. I couldn't believe they were actually making an excuse instead of trying to fix my grinder. Also, for those of you saying the pizza is good obviously have not had good pizza. Their pizza is not cheap but is made of cheap quality. Thin crust, stingy toppings, extra light sauce, super super greasy and too much cheese. If that is what you like then this is the place for you.
