As always, I must start my mornings with Dunkin. As I had landed in Boston and headed straight to my best friends house in Weymouth, I ended up at this location. I placed my order via the Mobile App as I always do at 10:14am as I was en route to the location.
Upon arriving, I went into the express line thinking it was for the mobile orders, however, to my dismay, upon arriving at the speaker, I was told it was not and I would need to pull into the regular line. I go around the building and pull into the regular line and await my turn. Upon arriving at the speaker, I advise “Picking up a Mobile Order for D. K.” and was instructed to pull up to the next window.
Now… WhenI noticed there were two people at the window talking I should have known this wasn’t going to be my usual pick-up. The young lady opens the window and asks me my name again, which I provide. She turns back to the order screen for a moment then turns back to me and asks if I am certain this location is the store I sent the order to. I confirm the address that shows on my order confirmation and she further confirms that I am at the correct location and asks what time I placed the order. I advised that the order was placed at 10:14am. By this time it is 10:23am. She again turns to her order screen for a few then asks me to hold one moment. She walks towards where the food is being made and looks around, then comes back to the window. After opening the window, she asked what I ordered. I read the order to her as well as showed her the order on my phone via the Dunkin App. She said okay and asked us to pull into spot #2. I asked if she was sure of the coffee order and she advised, yes.
Pulled into spot #2 and waited a few moments. When the order was delivered, the food was correct but as I feared, my coffee was trash. NOTHING I asked for except the Oatmilk had been added. As such, I got out of the car and went inside. I was assisted by a young lady named Yolett. She apologized for the mishap, confirmed my specific order with me, and made it as it was requested. Thanks to Yolett, my morning wasn’t ruined. There is nothing like a bad cup of Dunkin before a meeting.
In any case, I am not too keen on this location when it comes to mobile ordering. If I do end up here again, I will certainly place my order at the location.
For reference, if anyone in management reads this, my mobile order was #539 and...
Read moreIt breaks my heart leaving a bad review here at this place cuz this was always to go to Dunkin' donuts when the others were crappy. I ordered what I wanted on the intercom through the drive-thru I should have just went in like I usually do but I was pretty much in a rush. After three times telling the person what I want on the intercom I go around the corner and the girl who's just don't understanding a word I'm saying when she handed me my bag I checked it and it was no butter or ketchup like I asked for plastic wear like I asked at the intercom so I asked her for that she comes back with the bag and there is cream cheese. 🙄 I then again asked her what I asked at the intercom ketchup and butter! Then some old lady comes around the corner no headphone on so obviously she does not know what I ordered at the window and starts lecturing me about how to order at the intercom because I'm holding up the line. Mind you I look back it wasn't that bad I've seen worse at this place like out into the street worse. she tells me I'm not getting my ketchup and butter because I didn't order it at the intercom which I clearly did so she said next time order properly I just looked at it like wow and I even tip these people. I just drove off cuz I'm not one to start a commotion over ketchup and butter I'll just go get it elsewhere. But don't let your me about how to order when I said it clearly three times at the intercom. I'm going to rethink going here anymore I think cuz God said I hold up the line for wanting my stuff corrected. I did try calling the store but they don't answer the phone. Maybe a friendly call to corporate I will make.
I miss the days when customer service was a thing and not worrying about a timer on a drive-thru well maybe if we pay attention on the intercom us customers don't have to check our bag and hold the line up and get lectures from old hags who don't know...
Read moreI had a terrible experience with this Dunkin Donuts today. (1255 Main Street South Weymouth MA) 9/15/25 at 1:43pm. I had ordered on line but accidentally sent my order to the wrong location, when I realized and came here, I apologized. Instead of understanding, the manager gave me an attitude because I walked inside to pickup my order instead of going thru the drive thru to pick it up. (Which clearly wasn’t visible to me at this location that I have never been to) She then made me wait about 15 minutes, ignoring me. When I politely pointed out how rude she was being, she refused to give me her name. Her exact words were.. name? Good luck finding that! (With NO name tag on) just the manager shirt she was wearing.
I understand mistakes happen on the customers end, but nobody deserves to be treated with disrespect when they are being apologetic and just trying to pickup their order.
Higher management should address customer service skills here with her asap because this experience is making this Dunkin’s loose...
