You have got to be kidding--they send me constant adds for their latest promotions....I thought I would try the Lobster mac and cheese--had to send it back was bone try--no butter or cheese sauce or bread crumbs to make it palatable-----mostly tiny pieces of claw meat--rather tough--so disappointing. When I got the redo it was salty cheese --same dried up lobster--only luke warm. That's not the worse. I should have known the waitress was older and really off her game--she made so many mistakes. But my friend gave me a 20. and I told her take ten from it and put the balance on my charge. So far so good---she's talking and I'm waiting for my 10 change as my friend owed me the rest for other things.. Waitress claimed I gave her 10--impossible I had no cash only ones and my friend had just got 2 20's before we went to the restaurant. The waitress pulls out our money from her envelope and it is our crisp 20 dollar bill--then she goes and gets the original check where she deducted the 10 cash and insists I had only given her a 10 since that's all she deducted from the bill. I guess she didn't understand my intentions--we did get the 10 back--but I feel bad about the whole ordeal--it was awful food and unreliable service.. Never get lobster in that type of restaurant. Read moreI went there expecting good quality and service like most people my girlfriend and I both ordered entrees they came out cold and tasteless I asked my waitress who was nice if I could speak to the manager the manager came over with another manager, may have been the assistant manager or a trainee and the manager very currently and rudely asked what was my problem I told her the issues and she said there's nothing wrong with this food! Without even taking it back to the Cook and having them look at it . she was very Curt and abrupt again! So I said keep the food I'm leaving , she stomped away with her protege and we left . In my experience owning a restaurant the customer is always right just take the food back to the Cook look it over and most definitely recook it! That didn't happen we left with a very bad taste in our mouths we'll never return there again I do not recommend this place if this is the way they have their managers Treat people , again the waitress was fine I want to make that clear .. Read moreI placed a To go order and when I picked up the food it didn't look appetizing at all. After I inspected the food I returned the food to the 99 in S. Weymouth, MA 02190 on Route 18. Upon returning the food I spoke with the manager named Jen. She was extremely rude and disrespectful. She displayed very poor communication skills and was lacking very basic customer service skills. Jen proceeded to challenge me on why I was returning the food, which cost $42.00+, in front of all of the customers dining at the restaurant. I then had to go outside and get my son to come speak with Jen because of the behavior she was displaying. Jen continued to be smug, rude, ignorant, and combative in front of everyone; customers and employees alike. Is this how professional personnel are supposed to treat their customers? Is this how the 99 represents their business? Thank God my son was there to assist me. When my son asked to speak with upper management she stated she was the manager and was reluctant to give him his nmae, Sean/Shawn. He will be getting visit from me soon to discuss his managers putrid behavior! I will never spend another dime at ANY 99...
