We order from here all the time however you can’t make any special requests on their doordash. So a few times I’ve called when placing an order, simply to substitute linguine for angel hair with a dinner order (mainly for my son) but the few times I’ve called about this request it’s like pulling teeth to get anyone to help. The girl on the phone spoke English, sounded competent and the kitchen is right behind the front desk so it shouldn’t have been a big issue….Maybe it’s the chef?? Idk. One time they told me they already made the dinner even tho I called right when I hit the place order button…Twice they’ve simply ignored my request after they said they could do it but didn’t and then another time told me they cannot do that at the moment. Seriously? This time around, it’s a Wednesday nite so they can’t be THAT busy. We order from here all the time because the food is pretty good and affordable however, a simple request to substitute choice of pasta is too much to ask I guess! That was our only request! We’ve been ordering here for years and this has happened several times. They kinda sounded like they just wanted to go home. And the food is not as good as it was years ago. Maybe they’re short staffed? For years?...

We visited with our party of 10 to celebrate my mother’s 88th birthday. Everything went well until the presentation of the entrees. My order of Seafood of risotto bore no resemblance to my brother in law across the table. While his was covered with shrimp and scallops, I could find none in mine. Even the clams were empty shells. Basically, a bowl of rice. Upon showing to the waitress, it was taken back. Sirloin tips and grilled shrimp were ordered instead. By the time I received it, most in the party were finished eating. The waitress said, “There you go! I’m sure that’s better!” I cut into my med rare sirloin to see it is very well done and void of any juices or even a hint of pink much less the red I was expecting. I looked at the waitress, and said, “no it’s really not”. She wasn’t interested. In fact, she just walked away and never once came back to my end of the table. I was furious. Been to Eccos many times always had a excellent meal until last night, very disappointed in my dinner. I ordered the sword fish special and let me first say that if I had not been to Eccos before I would never return after last night, My sword fish was cut so thin that I do believe it only needed to be cooked on one side, it had to been cut if I was lucky a good 1/4 inch thin,and I'm being generous it may have been thinner. When my waitress asked if everything was ok,I let her know how disappointed I was with the cut!,she said she understood and yes they do cook the sword fish in house,that being said she went on to say that I wouldn't be disappointed in the flavor of the swordfish that it was delicious!! I'm not sure what she was talking about because all I could taste was the lemon pesto sauce they smothered all over it and that's not all as we were leaving our table the woman that was seated beside us was saying her lobster in her dish was bad!!!!!
