El Aguascalientes Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Wheat Ridge

NEVER again will I step foot in that place again!! I have lived in Wheat Ridge for 22 years, and I thought we should eat at a place that has been there for some time, and boy was that a grand ol' mistake! First we walk in, and employes don't greet us, they kept looking at us, and finally someone came to get us seated, our waitress was nice, but again wait....wait, wait wait wait, it was slow and not very good. The food came out really quick. At first I was exited, because the place smelled amazing, but just because it smells good doesn't mean it is, my tacos tasted off, kind of like a raw, fish like taste, and might I add, I had BEEF tacos. I got close to done till I got a huge chunk that was well lets say it could have still been mooing! She came up and asked how things were and I told her things were not ok, and tried telling her that their meat was not cooked properly, she first interrupted in saying "it just seasoning", when its still BLOODY, I am sorry it is not seasoning, and coming from a cook myself, and been in food management of top establishment in our region, yeah I know what meat looks like when its properly cooked. She took it back after I made my point, I had already started to feel sick, but she comes back and says "we can remake if you want, or give you half off"....One I would NEVER make a costumer pay at all for a raw meal that well now gave them FOOD POISONING, and two why then hell would I want more? So my husband and I have been terribly sick, he is better, but I am not, and I am feriouse because I have a life, and my life dose not consist of me having to be glued to the bathroom!

I can not believe it, I have never thought I would have this problem, but now any time I think of Mexican food, even my own I puke.

So unless you like to eat food that is not cooked and you want to make your bathroom your new best friend, I would...

Great. , great Foods they menu is great the food is delicious and they give you quite a bit of it. The only thing I can say the food is great the cooks are great what some of the waitress that kind of hateful and they don't seem like they want to wait on you give you special attention I know that they work very hard there but they can at least smile. They like the job so they should be happy with themselves the most with the customers some of the rates pictures are downright hateful they serve you but they seem like they don't really want to so why do they work there. But I've been reported to the manager but nothing seems to prevail. I said we love their food we love to cook the cook the food that's excellent but like I said the waitresses can be rude maybe they're just tired so all the work they do I'll take care of me smile and talk some English and not just Spanish those people that go in there speak English and they just talk Spanish. Until you tell him you don't understand and then talk to you in English so what that's all about I know it's a Mexican restaurant but you have to know English too.. this is America so you should know English when you're waiting on...

Honestly the food is pretty good, me and my wife usually order breakfast burritos on a sunday morning for pickup. When i call they sometimes just dont answer and never get any information from me, just what i want to order. The people up front never seem to have any clue what is going on when i go to pick up. My wife went to pick up this morning and i ordered 2 bacon bfast burritos with extra bacon, they said our order wasnt placed when she got there. Then they said it was under a different name and they got it? Then they gave us someone elses order i guess because the burritos were wrong. Not even worth the hassle to go bsck. Honestly this took a half hour when this is normally a less than 10 minute transaction for simply 2 burritos. If your front staff cant handle that then whoever is reading this, it is your fault. Train your staff or make sure they are doing their job correctly. We will be just going to salsas from now on because they dont seem to have an issue with taking basic...
