I’ll start off with the good. Eating alfresco almost always helps you enjoy the experience of dinning out. There’s just something about enjoying the nice day out with some food and drinks that helps you destress. While we were quoted a 30 min wait time we were seating well before that time. We ordered the fried calamari with peppers on top, a side of french fries, a Nova (very thin) Margherita pizza, and a pan style pizza. The calamari was delicious and the peppers gave it a nice kick which we enjoyed. The fries could possibly be the best fries I’ve had. They’re crispy but flaky in the middle and overall such a great fry I would go back just for the fries alone. I know, I’m hyping up the fries too much you may think but they were that good. No fancy sauces to accompany it or the typical truffle fries that always seem to be not as good as you imagined. Now for the bad. While every table outside was occupied I wouldn’t say it was an absolute hectic day so we expected reasonable service. Our waitress took our drink orders and didn’t come back for a good 10 mins. Either the manager or another server saw that we didn’t have drinks and were looking around so they came over to make sure we were helped and went to go check on our drinks. Our drinks came soon after and we finally were able to get our order in. We also weren’t offered refills or another drink order until we saw our waitress towards the end of our meal. I love pizza and when it comes to judging it I tend to have some checkboxes that must be checked. The cheese on the pan style was grainy and had a crumbly feeling to it not your typical stretchy delicious cheese you would expect. The sausage pieces had a nice snap to them but lacked flavor. The crust was a little doughy in places but the bottom had a nice crunch. The Nova style Margherita had some crunch but not enough for a very thin pizza. It did have some taste to it but overall it was just lacking. Overall while the food wasn’t terrible it’s not something we would come back to order again. Maybe we’ll try out the other dishes they offer but it being labeled a pizza place I wouldn’t come for that. Also for what it’s worth the workers were all nice and friendly we just didn’t get the right amount of attention to our table.

We visited this downtown area for a friend's birthday trip. We arrived a day early so went around downtown and found this restaurant. The road was closed off and we parked at the train station parking lot. We ordered the Nova Margarita thin crust pizza. The prices were fair and the pizza was good but in my opinion not the best. They really shine with their chicken parmesan sliders. Our order had three sliders and the flavor was really tasty. The marinera was homemade and was robust in flavor. We did not order any alcoholic drinks but the prices seemed affordable. I will visit again and in the future I will be ordering from their pasta and Italian selection. The atmosphere was really welcoming and if the weather is nice you can sit outside and enjoy your meal. Experiencing this restaurant has motivated me to visit more suburbs near the Chicago area. I hope to visit again and explore more of the Illinois area.

I can guarantee that old man Gil is rolling in his grave when he sees the type of product you guys are serving out of this location, don’t even bother ordering a pan pizza, it will be under cooked and cold, 2 pies over 50 bucks on a pick up and I’m reminded why I stopped ordering from them again. I order the pizza well done because I’ve been down the road before. 1st pizza is burnt black raw on the top, cheese isn’t even golden. Call in, they send me another one it was absolute trash!!! If you want anything close to the original go eat inside the one in elmhurst!!

I have been to multiple Armand’s and they are generally just ok but this was amazing!!! The chef was outstanding and the waitress was brilliant. We actually had a taste for Mexican but it was closed. So it was hard to change the taste buds, but once we got the food, it was fantastic! The waitress told us that appetizers were half price. I had wanted one artichoke then and one to go. She was so very nice to tell me that because the second wouldn’t have been half price had I just gotten it to go. So we ordered all appetizers. It was the best stuffed artichoke I have ever had. Not too much stuffing and the stuffing had just enough flavor not to overpower the artichoke. Now, when anyone would rave about food ( or anything for that matter) my father would say, you must have been hungry. Nope, because the artichoke I took home for tonight was just as wonderful!!! The grilled calamari my friend had was perfect. Not cooked to rubber as she said. Bruschetta was good. The stuffed clams were too fishy for me but certainly not their fault. My friend loved them so it might be me. The Bloody Mary was fantastic! I like a sweeter mix and just blue cheese olives, not a whole meal in the drink. Just perfect. And the waitress was one of the best I have seen- especially since Covid- she checked on us just enough and even brought me melted butter for my artichoke. She was just there whenever we...

Hi. Dining now at Armand’s in Arlington Park. Beautiful evening. Walked the variety and familiar with Armand’s so we selected this spot. Unfortunately, service still remains an issue. Maybe just good service I guess would be the better explanation. Few details. Chefs prepared an excellent meal. We had the stuffed artichoke and mussels. Very good. From the manager to the hostess to our server, extreme disconnect. We are still seated right by the host stand and oblivious. A waitress just past and used profanity towards one of her tables she is serving. Anyway back to service. I feel sorry for employees who are hired and not trained. Long delays. Uncommunicative. Unaware of the basics. Now that we have dined, I would come back but ask for the rattan chairs vs the metal, very uncomfortable seating and all of the tables the water glasses drip and you get wet through the holes. That was a new one. Restaurant row is a very special treat in this area. Hope to visit again and check out...
