Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Wheeling Township

BEWARE for anyone trying to work here. They are racist at this store. My son was trying to transfer to another store within the area and we were told by a manager that they were hiring. They set up a time for him to have an interview and when he went, he was told they were too busy and to come back another time. Finally we talk to another manager and she gives us the run around, tells us she can't find his application and to call back Wed and then he calls back and she says, yeah you keep calling and we're not hiring but we'll keep your application on file. My son is black and from the minute he walked in for his interview they judged him. The sad part is I had another white friend go check if they were hiring and they told her yes. Please beware that they're extremely racist. He wasted a whole week being persistent only for them to play games.Just ridiculous and completely unprofessional. I’ve been to this local jimmy johns many times as it is the closest one in the neighborhood, but I’ve unfortunately had more mediocre experiences than positive. They seem to consistently forget 1-2 ingredients on my sandwich so it’s gotten to the point that I need to check my sandwich in the car before leaving the location. I usually like to order the #6 veggie sandwich and the avocado spread is the most important ingredient in my opinion. This has been left off of my sandwich a number of times now. If I wasn’t 7 months pregnant, I might have had the energy to waddle back in and ask for my avocado spread today, but it’s too late. 2 days ago I ordered a #5 no tomato for delivery with a bag of salt and vinegar chips and a pickle. I got my sandwich from the driver and there was mayo on it with all the oil and vinegar, so I had to drive back to get my correct order. Last night I ordered for delivery at 8:30pm and they told me it’s gonna be going thru uber and I said ok. I got my sandwich just after 9pm only to find out there was mayo again and my pickle was missing. I called the store at least 5 times but they were closed.
