This was probably the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. Went in with my boyfriend and parents to try it out for the first time. Dad got a flatbread that tasted off/funky, he took one bite then put it down. The rest of our food was just mediocre. But here’s where it gets ugly - when our server finally got back to us, he said the flatbread was funky tasting and didn’t want it anymore. She took it away and brought the check, and the flatbread was still on the bill. Now I’d understand if he ate half of the thing, but no he had one single bite and then sent it back. We told the server to take it off the check since he didn’t eat it or reorder anything else, and she said she’d check with the manager. Time passes. She finally comes back again and says they can remake the flatbread but can’t take it off the bill. Arguing ensues, he doesn’t want another funky tasting flatbread and the rest of us finished our meals already. She continues to say she can’t do anything, and we ask to speak to the manager. The manager comes out, a woman, and she’s extremely rude and condescending right out the gate. She says no we can’t get it taken off because “they’re a family restaurant”… I’ve been to family owned restaurants and let me tell you they never treated customers like this. She raised her voice at my mom and after arguing for some time, she finally said she’d take it off. She snatched the bill out of my mom’s hands and yelled at her that she was taking it off. Such a disgusting display of disrespect. We were so close to just walking out. Ridiculous to treat your customers like that, and try to get them to pay for a dish you barely touched. This...
Read moreThis is the second time I’ve gone to this restaurant and have had a terrible experience. Today I think was the worst customer service experience I’ve ever gotten at a restaurant. First we ordered nachos when they came to the table they were cold and looked like they were sitting out for awhile. We asked for our server who didn’t come by but instead another member of the staff. She then proceeded to cut us off multiple times and was arguing with us about the fact that they were cold. She said the pan (which was like a cast iron skillet) was not supposed to be hot and did we try the chips on the bottom and we said yes and that they were barely room temperature, she then continued to argue with us to the point my mom actually stuck her finger in it to show her it was not hot at all. Finally she agreed to remake them. After she left the male manager came to our table and was extremely rude and confrontational trying to say that it’s a malenight pan not cast iron pan and it doesn’t get hot. He began to raise his voice and then said it’s fine we will remake them no problem and stormed off. At this point we were ready to walk out. Second time they came out with the new nachos and shockingly they were hot and so was this pan that was not supposed to get hot but they had to use a towel to bring it to the table. Nachos were hot and actually fresh the second time around, but if you try to return hot food that is cold beware you might get your head eaten off by multiple employees including the actual manager of the...
Read moreVery disappointed because the food was good, customer service not so much. Our waitress barely greeted us and just asked if we were ready to order or not. My son ordered the pasta with vodka sauce. This dish is normally served with Italian sausage, roasted red peppers, basil and parmesan. This dish is $19.... only comes with a tiny piece of bread by the way and the bowl was 1/3 full. When the bill came, I went up to the hostess stand because we hadn't seen our waitress to even ask her about why the price was the same without 3 ingredients served. In fact, we had to ask the manager for water refills earlier because our server was so inattentive. When I went to the hostess stand and expressed my concern, I was told "I'm just the hostess. You'll have to talk to the manager". Really??? I've never heard an answer like that from a restaurant employee. So, she gets the manager who proceeds to tell me that's the price regardless of customer modifications. Unsatisfactory answer!! My son being a picky eater has modified dishes elsewhere and usually it's the restaurant that will modify the price. Would it have been so difficult to knock off a few bucks?? Because of her inflexibility, I'm writing this review and we won't be going back nor am I recommending that anyone spend their hard earned...
