Chayo's Street Tacos — Restaurant in Wheeling

Loved this place the first couple of times. It was really good. Then the third time we had no cheese on our tacos or beans and the tacos fell apart from them being soggy. The 4th time I told them about the third time and we had plenty of cheese this time and my tacos were crunchy and didn't fall apart. It was like the first two times I got it very good. The 5th time which was yesterday 11/09/2023 it was back to the way it was the 3rd time I got it not very good. There was only a couple of sprinkles of cheese and I'm not exaggerating. The tacos fell apart and the bottom of the box was filled with juice from the taco meat and for some reason the meat was very salty this time. I'm not saying not to order from this place because at times it is very good food, but I don't want to have to ask for cheese which already comes on a taco everytime I order or ask for crunchy tacos instead of soggy ones that fall apart when i pick it up. This was my first experience at this restaurant. There were no diners at the restaurant when I came to pick up my order. We ordered Shrimp Lunch Fajitas, 2 tacos Supreme, and 2 cheese dip. My order was ready when I came in, and packaged nicely. We didn't eat right away, but when I opened my order at home, my 2 tacos Supreme were missing. The Shrimp Fajitas were delicious and plentiful, as were the rice, beans, and cheese dip. But my 2 Tacos Supreme were missing. I was charged for them but I never received them. I called the restaurant when I discovered this. The manager was nice and was willing to replace them, today, tomorrow, or whenever I came in. Made a special trip to try this place out due to the great reviews. On their website it says they open at 11AM on Saturday, but they would not answer the phone. No huge deal, I figure we'll just go there and order in person. Get there, the sign on the door says they open at 12, but there was nobody to be found even after 12, place was completely empty.
