When I moved to Wheeling , one of the first things I did, was go on the hunt for waffles … 🧇 They’re my absolute fav breakfast item ! I learned that there were no waffles to be found !!😭🤯 But yesterday, The Belgian Waffle Shop, inc. opened & I had to check it out today ! 🎉🎉🎉 Wasn’t sure how I would feel about it because : 1. I like breakfast waffles with butter & syrup. 2. I’m not a huge fan of ice cream on warm desserts. But I have to say , this was THE BEST waffle I’ve ever had ! I give it a 10 & 2 thumbs up ! 👍😁👍 Served very hot , very quickly , the staff was so friendly & the toffee crunch flavor was on point ! Loved the French press coffee! 😋 I’ll definitely be back soon!

Not just for breakfast! You have to try these dessert waffles. Think fancy ice cream but enjoyable even when the weather is cold. The sugar crystals in the waffle give them such a satisfying texture. We had the pumpkin special with spiced graham cracker and pumpkin ice cream. I can't wait to come back and try more of their flavors. 😍 The street in front of the building is under construction at the moment but it's easy to park nearby and walk.

We LOVE that they use Kirke's Homemade Ice cream. The waffle was cooked perfectly and covered with alllll the yummy toppings. We would definitely come back.

What a wonderful treat! A must stop. We were greeted warmly as we walked in. Small wait to order. We had the Oreo Utopia and it was delicious and served warm with ice cream on top. Overpriced and VERY disappointed. Not sure if the waffle batter was old or maybe one of the ingredients, but the waffles were dry and tasted stale. Owner was extremely rude when we brought it to her attention. Felt sick after eating here. Would never return.

Edit: It’s amazing how anytime someone says anything negative about your “business” you accuse it of being false. You apparently think your waffles are the greatest thing this valley has ever seen. More proof of the rudeness of the owner. Spend your money elsewhere folks - this woman doesn’t deserve...
